I am sure we will have the heating on as soon as we get back. At the moment the air on is blowing cold air on my toes

Tecwyn

Good Morning Sue,

I have put the heating on this evening - it got quite chilly.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 6 Oct 2014 22:32

I am glad it is sorted Sue. Is it a nice spring day for you?

Hello friends :-)

My keyboard is working great Linda. Better than the last one in that it doesn't have predictive speech but gives a choice of words.

It's raining and windy here :-(

I'm not a jewelry person either. I have some nice bits and pieces but I don't wear a lot of it.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 6 Oct 2014 22:18

It is a waste really not to wear them.
The Duchess has some lovely pieces, but hardly ever wore them. She just wasn't a jewellery person.

I have lots of nice jewellery but don't wear things that often in case I lose them. It is a shame really just to keep them locked up

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 6 Oct 2014 22:10

That's a shame Linda. I have an expensive watch, and a cheap one, always prefer to wear the cheap one.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 6 Oct 2014 21:35

I am annoyed because i have just knocked my new watch off the bedside cabinet onto the tiled floor and the face has cracked. It is just an everyday one and wasn't that expensive, but it is annoying

Ah it is back for a while.

I am sorry Milo blew you out Tec after you had been kindly looking after him. I hope the new dog doesn't knock you over

LindainHerriotCountry Report 6 Oct 2014 21:31

I am looking forward to a decent wifi signal

Apparently the new dog chews everything, but this is due to being left alone all day while her previous owners were out at work. :-0
Sheep dogs are very active, and intelligent , they need stimulating.
It is unfair to leave a young dog alone all day - some people :-|

I know what you mean about clearing up. I have just let the pieces fall where they dropped. Picking it all up is another task.
Luckily I have one of those grabber things that they use for picking up litter.
Very useful gadget for me.

Oh dear, has Milo spurned you. I hope the new dog doesn't knock you over

I should think that cutting the hedge isn't too bad, it is the tidying up afterwards I don't like

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 6 Oct 2014 18:48

It has been a pleasant day here, although another very rough night with high winds and heavy rain.
Warmer than the last two days.
I spent a few hours in the garden attacking the hedge. It has grown much too high, so I am cutting into the wood to shorten it by about two feet.
Using the tree lopper, but it's slow work from the wheelchair. I will do just a few feet when I can.

Milo's mother returned today. He nearly knocked her over with glee :-)

Tomorrow she collects another dog, that is apparently a bit of a handful. Sue is very good at sorting them out, and Milo will show her how to behave as well :-D

Linda I hope your journey home is not too uncomfortable, and that you do get a wheelchair each end - take care.

I hope the keypad works now.

It is the last afternoon here We have been by the pool, but it is a bit hot so have come back for some shade. We can have a leisurely morning tomorrow as we get collected just after midday. I have asked for wheelchair assistance at the airport as I couldn't stand in the queues

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 6 Oct 2014 10:54

I did that, Linda - thanks :-)

Sue. There is a big upgrade to be done on your iPad to the new IOS 8 operating system, but don't do it on your iPad because it needs to download a lot of data as a temporary measure while it does it. Lots of people are finding they don't have space especially if they have taken lots of photos.

Instead use the White wire from the charging plug to connect it to your laptop. Go to the iTunes Store on your laptop, it should recognise your iPad there do the upgrade from there.

I'm leaving it for now Tec before I throw it through the window. That wouldn't do. These gadgets are wonderful when they work :-|
