I will suggest that to SIL Linda if he hasn't done anything about it yet. |

If it is the charger, can't your SIL use a universal charger to see if it works, or take it into a phone shop and ask them to try one of their chargers. If it charges you can buy a new charger on Ebay very cheaply |

SIL contacted Amazon, and that is what he was told. |

No - this is through Medicare (our NHS). |

That is silly Tec, surely Amazon are responsible for the repairs not you as it is under guarantee |

I think I told you that my tablet died after very little use. My SIL who got it on my behalf bought it through Amazon, but it came from Poland and has to be returned there. Postage £60, and if you want to insure it £100 :-0 |

Of course we have the option of private health care through Bupa, or similar, but would see the same doctors and specialists, just quicker. |

I suppose the difference is that Sues insurance pays for it |

You can wait ages for an MRI scan here, unless it's obviously very urgent. |

Hopefully your weather will pick up soon Sue |

We seem to have the opposite here with GP's now being able to send patients to have MRI's and other big tests that are often not needed. OH's specialist told him a simple scan and X-Ray would have been enough. |
