I remembered just now that my brother and SIL are coming tomorrow, so if the decorator is here they will just have to put up with it.
Will have to visit the Duchess on Wednesday now, but as she had visitors today that's ok.

Isn't life complicated? What with visitors, and mad decorators.

I have Milo again at the weekend. His mother is visiting her other son in Bedford until Tuesday.
My daughter and Co are also here, but they like Milo.

I expect Sue will be upset by the shocking goings on in Sydney last night.
You never know where those maniacs might pop up.

Tut, I hope the Duchess doesn't realise that you didn't buy her sister a present, or you will be in trouble and quite rightly so.

Going to visit the Duchess while the decorator is there, is a good idea, he might get on faster if he has no one to talk to

I haven't been out today. i did a lot of housework and washing this morning. I frittered the afternoon away on computer related tasks :-D

Very dull day here, but dry, and not very cold.

My visitors arrived around 11 o'clock, and have not long gone.
We had lunch - SIL took over my kitchen, I was banished to talk to nephew.
She commented that the best thing about coming "home" is that she is allowed to do things for herself, instead of having everything done for her by the domestic staff :-(

I feel that way too, since having sacked all my servants :-D

They later visited the Duchess, who apparently was in "good form"
I will visit tomorrow, when probably the decorator will be here, and it will be a good excuse to escape.

Sil turned up with a pile of Christmas presents, including some for my daughter and her family.
Now I feel badly because I didn't get her anything. Oh well.

No, you have to ring off after 59 minutes or it costs money on the phone
