They certainly looked like hotel dressing gowns ;-)

LindainHerriotCountry Report 26 Jun 2013 22:53

I had to check her case before she left to make sure she didn't take it :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 26 Jun 2013 22:53

You did but you took it back again :-|

I remember a committee member coming to my house for the first time. She turned up when I was sorting out the bookcase and there were books stacked in the living room. A few weeks later we were at a meeting and a comment was made about books. She looked at me, winked and said "Sue certainly likes books". I had forgotten so was a little mystified. Then she said she was shocked. I was even more mystified but let it go. Later someone asked me if I had left some "rude" books lying around :-0

The trouble with nice white dressing gowns - everyone thinks you've stolen them from hotels :-D

I wonder if she did Sue? :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 26 Jun 2013 22:47

Tut I gave you a nice white dressing gown when you were here

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 26 Jun 2013 22:47

I'm quite sure Sue would look business like in anything Linda, even a nightie.

:-D

I would settle for just looking human first thing in the morning, instead of something frightening that crawled out of the sea during the night :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 26 Jun 2013 22:46

You could be right Linda but I don't want this person spreading tales about my old dressing gown :-0

Another day of rain - it really is miserable. It was supposed to ease today but it's pouring. I've had enough and I want it to stop :-(

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 26 Jun 2013 22:39

Nothing wrong with looking business like in your nightie Sue :-D

Yes I am up early. I have someone calling in early so I can sign some papers for the organisation I am with. I must look reasonably presentable.

Sad news about Taffy - his owner must be devastated :-(

I hope the driver of the car is ok but it doesn't look good for an elderly person.

Changing our Prime Minister doesn't bother me although I would prefer to move forward than go backward. It's the mass exodus of some front benchers that is of concern. We go to the polls in a couple of months :-(

I hope Taffy can keep well for as long as possible.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 26 Jun 2013 22:32

Time for coffee :-)

Tecwyn Report 26 Jun 2013 22:28

I feel sorry for Taffy's mother too. She really has done everything for him, long walks twice a day. He has had vaccinations for everything imaginable, and he really is well cared for.
She took him on after her husband died, for company, so it is sad. Still he may have a while yet, and as I said, is fine in himself at the moment - very lively.

My friend and his passenger are very upset about the smash, but entirely blameless - they are both in their fifties.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 26 Jun 2013 22:19

Oh dear that is bad news about Taffy and of course the other driver

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 26 Jun 2013 22:19

Good Morning early bird Sue,

Can you do anything to change our Prime Minister, but not for your previous one thank you :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 26 Jun 2013 22:17

I think "Good Morrow to you fair lady" is a line from a Shakespeare play, but can't remember which one :-)

Been another lovely day here - went to town with a prescription, so will have to go again on Friday to collect it.

Apparently the other driver in that crash was an elderly lady. Don't know how she is, but it can't be good :-0

Poor Taffy has developed bone cancer - such sad news because he is a lovely old dog. He's fine in himself at the moment, and has been with us all day today, and again tomorrow.
