LindainHerriotCountry Report 28 Jun 2013 22:12

Don'd forget the toasted hot cross buns with butter

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Jun 2013 22:11

I'm going to make the coffee now :-)

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Jun 2013 22:09

No - just the Cadbury's cream eggs all year round. I rather like them :-)

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 28 Jun 2013 22:07

Do they have the Easter eggs out as well?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Jun 2013 22:05

It's Easter all year round in the Co-op. I often buy hot cross buns

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 28 Jun 2013 22:03

Oh yes, we went to the supermarket as well and OH bought some hot cross buns, I didn't realise it was Easter

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Jun 2013 22:02

I selfishly forgot to ask - are you feeling better?

I watched some tennis as well

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 28 Jun 2013 22:00

It rained hard all this afternoon. I have been up my tree this evening, but apart from watching the tennis, I haven't done much else

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Jun 2013 21:55

I;ve been around, but sending e-mails.

Been a horrid day here, very wet and dull with mist over the sea and the hills.

I've been very lazy today, did nothing except strip the bed, turned the mattress, and got in a pickle with the duvet cover, as usual :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 28 Jun 2013 21:50

Well about time someone turned up

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Jun 2013 21:47

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 28 Jun 2013 10:24

I am hoping it will stop raining by the time I have to go out, it seems to be tailing off,so fingers crossed.

I need to go to the supermarket as well, but I will wait until this afternoon. I am expecting a couple of parcels today,so as OH has gone out, I will wait for the postman. Of course having done that, the parcels will not arrive until tomrrow

I hate summer colds - I always feel worse :-( I hope you get over it quickly.

You don't have earthquakes where you live Linda ? ;-)

It has rained almost non-stop today. OH took a group of people down the coast and he said it didn't all day. Doesn't look like it rained up Berona's way either.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 28 Jun 2013 09:44

It is raining here as well and I have to go out later on.

I am fine, I just have what is referred to in medical terms as "a stonking cold", most unfair as it is supposed to be summer.

It was bad luck for your niece to be taken ill while they were awaySylvia, if it was going to happen, it would have been easier for them at home,

The earth rarely shakes here Tec ;-)

Hello all. Just checking in. Hope all are well and those sleeping are having pleasant dreams.
Weather here is still dry. Overcast with forecast for showers, but nothing as yet, and hope for the temp to reach 18. That is unusual, since we only got to 13 a couple of days ago, and the first month of winter is almost at an end.

Hi Sue, and everyone

we live on the Ring of Fire, and have frequent small earthquakes. Most of them are so small that we do not actually feel them .............. but the pictures are never straight on my walls :-D

You never know what is going to happen ......................

one of OH's nieces is down in the Greater Vancouver area ................. her husband has been brought down by his company to teach a couple of 1 week long courses, so the family came with him

A came to see us on Tuesday morning, with her 2 little girls, 3 and 5 ......... gorgeous children!! A said she had "tummy pain", but thought she had not been drinking enough water with being out of her routine and staying in hotels for about 10 days.

OH's sister phoned last night (Wednesday) ................. husband had taken A to hospital, and she had been diagnosed with appendicitis :-(

At 10 pm, she was waiting for a surgeon to come and see her.

We came home from afternoon coffee this afternoon (Thursday), and a message on the tape from A ....... a bit weak sounding, but cheerful. Letting us know she was fine but now "short 1 appendix"!

it's raining here :-(

take care everyone
