I know your right Sue and I will do my best, my sister has for a long time had a problem going out unless she is in the car and when she rang me on Sunday was saying the same thing. It annoys me that I am like this when only 12months ago I was out working and going anywhere on any transport :-(

The more you go out the easiest it will get - keep getting out in the sunshine even if it's just for an hour - it will do you the world of good.

Carole and I dared Persie to put a naughty joke on a thread......and she did :-0

What have you all been getting up to ?

Sue I went out on Monday as I had an appointment with my counsellor and then forced myself not to go back home but go shopping for my grocery's as I hadn't been for any for nearly 2 wks.

I'v just checked the forcast for Liverpool for the next 10days and the temps are going up steadily and Tuesday is said to be 28 C.

And mine Carole - I egged her on too :-\

It's been lovely and sunny and quite mild for winter but it's chilly now and we've just put the heating on. Hope you are getting out more now the weather is warming up. You need the sunshine to lift your spirits.

I thought I should say hello, to set Diane's mind at rest. I have been out a lot lately. I went out today, called at our shop (another lady is now doing my Wed. afternoon turns). Bought another top. (Bought 2 yesterday when I went to town early to look for my hearing aid which I had lost in the shop - found it on the floor, just by the changing room, luckily nobody had stood on it). Soon I will have enough tops for every day of the year.

After a cuppa and chat with one of the ladies I then went and visited Phil, who slept through most of my visit. I then went looking for a particular shop in Manukau, and bought some big black buttons, as one of our customers was wanting some.

Time I got my dinner now.

Oh, to be 19 again! Tec - happy birthday to your grand-daughter.
When I was 19, I was dumb. I really can't believe to this day, just how dumb I was!
(Not much better at 29, but at least I was married by then, and knew a FEW more things than I knew at 19). Even after travelling overseas and back again - I was still naive about many things. I wouldn't begin to tell you what, because you wouldn't believe me. Looking back now, I realise how naive my mother was too - so I suppose she wasn't able to enlighten me on a lot of things - and there were so many subjects which were never discussed even during 'girl talk'. Thankfully, my OH was outspoken and taught our children to be the same, so they have taught me a lot (and still do!).

Just popped in to say a quick hello before I go to bed.

Those little birds sound beautiful Sue - you do have some lovely birds in Aus,
I feed the birds every day with wild bird food. Can watch them from the kitchen window.
We have pretty little birds called gold finches here every day. A pair of doves turn up every day at the same time, and have become quite tame.

I think if you asked my family they would say I always wander around in a dream :-D

There are two pretty little fairy wrens hopping around on my front verandah. The beautiful blue male is so lovely to look at but I also love to see his little brown lady.
