Hello Amanda - I'm sure the antibiotics will knock the infection on the head. It sounds like he's coming along fine.

Oh dear Linda - my OH only did that once and he had a good reason but I didn't let him forget it for a few days :-D How long have you been married?

Tec - I think Berona will be delighted that your agapanthus is blooming :-)

Hello Amanda - how are you? and how are the walking wounded, especially little Tommy?

Linda, we never made a big deal of anniversaries, only the special ones.
It was our golden anniversary last year.
I waited at the altar aged 12 :-D

Happy anniversary to you both Linda :-)

Hello Sue , I hope you enjoy taking the children out and that the twins don't wind each other up to much :-)

He didn't realise until he came back from his ramble, but I don't mind as we don't make a deal of it

Wow - 30 C in the South East at the weekend. Your daughter won't appreciate that Linda - and I think Eve will be in the paddling pool. :-)

Good evening Tec and Linda ...... Hello Sue , Berona ,Sylvia , Persie , Diane and everyone else :-)

Linda , it sounds as if you have been busy on the allotment . I hope your pickeling and jamming goes well .
We have been collecting strawberrys every day for days on end .......... some of our peas are ready to harvest and the broad beans have been and gone .

Tec , I'm pleased to know you are both delighted with your new fire place . I'm sure you will soon have your home cleaned and polished to pefection :-)

Berona , I did laugh at the thought of you looking out of your window to see a porta loo standing there :-0

Sylvia , I hope you soon get a buyer for your cabin .

Diane , good on you for getting out of the house :-D And I'm pleased you had a busy day with your visitors :-D

It has been overcast here more or less all day , being on the coast we often suffer with cloud when the rest of the country is enjoying the sunshine .
OH was busy doing mortal combat with the ivy in the front garden today ...... and he won :-D mind you he did manage to smack himself in the face with a garden fork ( only slight damage thankfully ) and then he nearly fell over as the ivy retaliated and wrapped aound his legs .....lol
Thank you all for your kind wishes regarding Tommy :-)
Apparently he has a slight infection and is on anti biotics as a precautionary measure . The dead skin and been removed and so far the Drs are pleased with how things are progressing .

Whoopee indeed Tec :-D You will have to get a photo of the flowers when they bloom .

It is nice, but tomorrow it will be 29 here and that is just a bit too hot

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 11 Jul 2013 22:28

Yes I'm sure she would Linda - like she hasn't enough of her own to do :-)

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 11 Jul 2013 22:27

You're right Tec - I DON'T want to clean your room although I'll do the polishing for you. I like polishing furniture - very satisfying.

Looks like a sunny day today so we may take the children for a drive a little way down the coast. They're very good in the car providing you don't sit the twins next to each other :-0

The very hot weather is set to continue Linda, which is lovely really. Such a shame I have to hide from it, but appreciate it just the same.
Seems a long time since we had a decent summer.

I am sure Sue would be delighted to come and do your cleaning for you :-)

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 11 Jul 2013 22:19

Hello Sue,
You want to be cleaning here. Everything is covered in a film of fine dust, even though it was all covered. Never mind, I'll work my way round with a damp cloth, then polish everything - but will take my time in this heat.

There are twelve huge flower bud on my agapanthus :-) whoopee :-D

Edit to read - You DON'T want to be cleaning here :-)

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 11 Jul 2013 22:15

I am glad that you are pleased with it Tec, it is going to be very hot over the weekend, so just take it easy

Good morning to you Sue

SueMaid Report 11 Jul 2013 22:11

Hello :-) I won't be on for long as it's my turn to pick the children up this morning. We had a quiet day yesterday after such a long and tiring day on Wednesday. Tomorrow (Sat.) will be spent giving the house a good clean although I don't think I'll have anywhere near the mess you will have, Tec. I can imagine you are both pleased the job is finished - I'm glad you are both delighted with it.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 11 Jul 2013 22:06

Hello Linda,

No not cleaning :-D the men were here until 6-30pm, but they've finished thank goodness. We are delighted with the new fireplace, so it has been well worth the effort, mess, and the cost.
Cleaning will have to wait until tomorrow after I get back from the supermarket.
