I bought some fresh salmon for dinner tonight, and had it with little new potatoes cooked whole in their skins, asparagus, and broccoli tips - it was nice too :-)

I hope it has lots of butter on it :-)

Coffee's ready, and a hot cross bun from the Co-op :-D

It is amazing how often the weather turns nasty as soon as the school holidays begin. Did you ever notice that when you were teaching?

Yes, more hot weather - my daughter has a theory that the good weather will hold until the schools break up for the summer, then it will rain until September :-D

Oh dear, it is going to be 27 or 28 every for the rest of the week.

Sorry to have disappeared, my brother called and we had a long chat as it would have been my fathers birthday today, then I rang my daughter and she is fine

How are you today Diane? are you coping with the heat? I also had to go into town today and was glad to get back home.
Woken early this morning by the farmers chasing the sheep down the mountain, the sheep and the dogs were making a terrible noise - poor sheep.
The Duchess is fine today thank you. She responds quite well to me flitting about in my nurses outfit lol.

Hello Linda - Glad you have a bit of breeze there - it is very still here, but not quite as humid thank goodness.

Hello Diane, it has been really hot and humid all day today. I ended up walking into town twice and I was relieved to get home each time. The breeze is getting up tonight, which is very welcome

Well another nice sunny day, it started off cloudy until about 3pm and then the clouds melted away when the sun got stronger and there is a nice cool breeze coming through my living room window.

The sun is blazing away again, so I am going to have a walk into town to buy a birthday card and to go to the cinema just to do a bit of admin

we're thinking we can get up to the land for a few days later this week ................. say form Thursday to Sunday or Monday.

That will allow us to meet the realtor face-to-face, and also OH would like to try to finish painting the outside of the cabin.


It had been a little cooler here ......... but the hotter weather is definitely on its way back!
