Hello Tec , I just imagine you with your vacuum cleaner and a mean look in your eyes lol

Hello Linda , yes , the forecast is looking like continued heat , I don't mind the hot weather to much but some rain would be most welcome , the allotments are parched .

Our blackcurrents need collecting , we only have two bushes but they are laden with berries :-D I hope you have a sun hat on when your picking your fruit .

I am going out in the front garden with a torch before I go to bed - slugs are chewing the buds on my lily's, and they are just about to burst.

The buds - not the slugs :-D

Hello Amanda, I have just seen the local forecast and here we have another week like this. I will have to go fruit picking again tomorrow

Hello Amanda - We get plagued with flies whenever they move the sheep about on the mountain, which they did yesterday.
I tried one of those fly screens, but it didn't help much.
Welsh flies are devious.
If they get too much I catch them with the vacuum :-D

I was indoors all day stripping wallpaper, so didn't suffer heat stroke out in the garden :-)

I'm back - forgot I hadn't washed dishes after dinner :-( but there wasn't much.

Good evening Linda and Tec .

It has been SO hot here again today . I even had to come indoors and sit in the cool kitchen :-0
Our kitchen had been filling up with blasted flies so I have been out and bought one of those colourful striped thingies , that one hangs in the open doorway . It has worked a treat , not a fly in sight today :-D

It was a shade cooler here today Linda, we again had the sea mist till lunchtime, but 27 forecast tomorrow and weekend. Will ccontinue next week apparently.
It is hotter than Athens, Malaga, and Miami

Amanda - Sorry that I missed you last night,

Pleased to see that Tommy's hand is improving and his hand may soon be free - as Linda said, the problem for his mum will be keeping it clean.
My peas are doing very well indeed, but as sown later than yours not ready quite yet :-)

Hope you are surviving the heat, even with your feet in a bucket :-D

Now I have sat down :-D

You are lucky with your weather Berona, I think poor Sue only has the cold and rain.

It is another glorious day here. One spin off of this hot weather is that I am getting to wear all of my dresses. I have summer skirts of course, but as it is not normally that hot, they are teemed up with tee shirts.this year, I am getting to wear the dresses which I normally only take on holiday.

I am glad that Tommy is coming on well Amanda. in a way, it will be worse once the bandages come off because his mum will be trying to keep it clean and you can't do that with a crawling baby.

Ahem Carole, I am not sure if we need the details of your wild night ;-)

Staying in the hotel sounds civilised Sylvia, except for the round trip you are going to have to make to the cabin, I hope your OH manages to finish the painting and that the realtor has a queue of people lined up to view it

Hello all. Strange day to-day. Cloud cover for most of the day, but no rain and the temp has been quite bearable too. I haven't even thought of switching on the aircon as yet and it's just on sundown. Overnight temp was 10, yet a week ago, it went down to 1. I believe we might be in for colder weather, but surprised that we are now starting into the second half of winter with these temps! ... However, YES, I will make the most of it while I can.

Hello everyone,

Tec, all 8,0000 of them give you their regards :-D
I'm glad to read your Duchess is well after you caught her before things got dire with her hypo...special cwtches to you both :-)

Weather here has also been mild, its not expected to last and there is some wild weather forecast tonight. I think the seasons are a little topsy turvy at the moment because I am seeing some spring flowers out, quite odd :-S

Hello Diane, I hope things are well with you <3

Hi Sue, and everyone

It's getting hot again here ............. but the clouds rolled in late this afternoon, so it if muggy

It will be hot tonight because the cloud cover is holding the heat in.

We could have thunder and lightening, but I'd really like the rain to fall!!

We are going to the cabin on Thursday, but we will be staying at a hotel in the town about 60 km away ................. we emptied almost everything from the cabin last year, and are not taking the stuff or the generator back up again!

Take care everyone

Good night Linda , I hope you can sleep okay in the heat .

Hello Tec , if your still about . Well done in catching the Duchess and the hypo situation . It must be a constant worry :-(

It has been hot here but thankfully we have the sea breezes which do help . We spent three hours on the allotment with wheelbarrows and watering cans today . I got so hot that I resorted to sitting on a chair with my feet in a tub of cold water .
The harvesting of the peas has begun . We put a table outside our house , from which we sell some of our produce . The neighbours where quick off the mark to grab themselves some peas ....lol

Tommys hand is healing very nicely , hopefully he will be able to have it unbound by next week , he will be very pleased to see his fingers again I don't doubt .
