Linda , it sounds like cryptic news regarding baby sister :-S it is reassureing that her breathing is good and that she is getting her milk , one way or the other . I am still thinking of you all .

Yes Amanda it is a relief for a while and as you say I wouldn't put anything past this goverment with figure's, mind you IDS ( Ian Duncan Smith ) has been brought to task over his lie's about figure's and will be facing parliment to answer to them in September ( think he's on his way out ) with all the lie's he has been spouting.

The girls will send me a message via FB and a load of picture's to go with it once they arrive :-)

I am shattered because of the early starts :-( Eve is asleep and her parents are at the hospital visiting little sister. She is still in a high dependency unit, the breakthrough in the feeding has not made progress. She will breast feed a little bit, but has difficulty feeding from a bottle, so she is mainly being tube fed. It is going to be a long haul I think.

Her breathing is fine and they don't seem too worried about her heart, but the latest thing is that her parents have to meet with the geneticists on Friday, why no one is saying.
I wish it would rain here, it is just so humid

Yes Diane - 21/22 is civilised, but 34 C is ridiculous.

I think we are all due some rain tonight - they forecast between one and two inches for us. Trouble is the ground is so dry, it will all run off causing some flooding.

I couldn't survive with all the windows shut - every window in the house is wide open here - take my chances with the gnats. We don't get many here, but moths are a nuisance.
I do get bitten to death in the garden though, and have bites all over me :-(

Hello Tec. yes it is nice to have the family visit and catch up with all the new's.
Yes it is to hot and does take it out of you, it would be nice if it were around the 70F/ 22c mark and a nice breeze. It is 21c / 69F in liverpool at the moment so still quite warm for an evening.

Diane , I hope your Grand-daughters enjoy their holiday , I can well imagine you will worry , I hope they let you know they have arrived safely etc .
I am SO pleased to know you have been awarded the DHP , that must be a huge weight off your mind . I must admit I have grown so suspicious of this govenment that I question everything these days , I wonder if lots of folk get the DHP then "they" ( the govenment ) will be able to say that there isn't the rent arrers that had been feared ? We all know what " they " are like with manipulating figures :-|
Still , it is a relief to know that at least the worry is on hold for some folk at the moment :-)

Tec , I hope you get the rain and cooler air . We had a bit of thunder last night but barely any rain :-( It is stinkingly hot here at the moment , OH won't have the windows open as he hates being bitten by gnats . I feel like a boil in the bag dinner .....lol

You had a busy evening with the family visiting, lots to talk about I expect. Nice for you have company now and then.

It has been very warm here again today, and we are promised rain tonight, so hopefully that will cool things down a bit.
The last few weeks have been far too hot for me, and I don't like it. Hate to moan after the horrible summers we've had in recent years, but while it's lovely to see the sun, the excessive heat just wipes me out.

Linda - I hope baby sister is making progress, and that you are not run off your feet with Eve. Sometimes you have to explain that you have a bone in your leg :-D
