I don't mind if I have a quick nap now and then in the afternoon but if I fall into a deep sleep for an hour or so then I can't sleep that night. OH can have a 15 minute nap and wake up refreshed.

The garden looked so much better this morning for a soaking last night, everything looked fresh again - it was steady gentle rain for several hours, so nothing got spoilt.

I very rarely fall asleep in the armchair - must be my age :-D

I've been getting up quite early in the mornings lately, around 6am, so getting very little sleep really.
I've never been able to sleep during the day all my life, and envy people who can take a cat nap.

Hope your Grand daughters have a great time in Ibiza :-D

Hello Tec - nice to hear that you are getting some rain for the garden. It doesn't take long for plants and lawns to dry out. In summer we don't worry about the lawn. If it's warm and dry everyone has brown lawns but they pick up as soon as we have decent rain.

Diane - you sure do have to get your sleep pattern sorted. It can cause all sorts of problems with your health :-(

Hello Tec, you must have needed the sleep after all the sleepless night's because of the heat.
It has been the same kind of weather here today so now the air feels a lot less humid :-)

Thats nice that you went out, I'm the opposite Sue I have become nocturnal the last few months, not good I know and must try and get my sleep pattern sorted out :-(

Hope everyone is well - I fell asleep in the armchair this evening, while watching something riveting on tv :-D.
Now it's time for bed.

I did a little more work on my walls this morning as it was a bit cooler and a nice breeze through the window.
This afternoon we had a thunderstorm and more rain. Which was very welcome except that it knocked out my tv satellite signal just as I was watching the end of the Hungarian Grande Prix. :-(

We went out last night for dinner. We were home by 9 :-0 Can't seem to take the late nights anymore :-(

It was the 13th July and yes we should have had a party :-(
It is neally 12 midnight in Ibiza and they are having cocktails, Oh to be young again :-)

I'm fine thank you Sue, I'm chatting via FB to my eldest grand-daughter in Ibiza were she and her sisters all are until Thursday.

I had to spell check " advised " it's funny how " advice is spelt with a C but " advised " is spelt with an S :-S

I am fine, Diane. I will be going to town soon to get some photos printed, and then to work in the Hospice shop. I must remember to tell our boss at the end of the day to 'break a leg'. She is having a cyst removed tomorrow therefore she will be in theatre, and that is the wish given to actors about to go on stage. She has to stay flat on her back for 2 weeks afterwards, not easy as she is a very active person, then she has to take it easy for another 4 weeks. I told her we would make up a roster to call round to make sure she is obeying doctor's orders. :-D
