I assume you use the term "ladies" in its broadest sense.

The Duchess keeps me shackled to the wall of the cave at holiday times, lest I succumb to temptation. Not that that is likely in my present state :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 4 Aug 2013 21:45

I have seen some of the ladies in Fairthingy, maybe that explains the deterioration in my eyesight

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Aug 2013 21:40

The ladies in my vicinity are very respectable paragons of virtue. Even a glimpse of an ankle is regarded as racy :-D

We do however, occasionally see sights from other areas, where apparently anything goes - but I of course avert my eyes, fearing blindness.
Some of us here have led sheltered lives after all.

Sue would never do such a thing, we are not all like the ladies in your vicinity you know

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Aug 2013 21:29

If Sue were to swing from the trees half naked - would you copy her?

That Swiss Finishing School really was a waste of time.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 4 Aug 2013 21:25

Well, I copied Sue, so it must be all right.

Tecwyn Report 4 Aug 2013 21:23

A young lady of your standing should not be so brazen :-(

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 4 Aug 2013 21:21

Absolutely :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Aug 2013 20:56

Decadence :-0

Oh dear - flaunts pierced ears :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Aug 2013 17:00

I haven't got any tattoos, and dislike them intensely, especially on women, but each to their own taste.
Can remember being furious when my daughter had her ears pierced when she was 17 yrs old :-D.

Yes, I am a dinosaur. :-D

Do I care?................No.

You are indeed a saint Sylvia, although I think you will find being a sinner is more fun :-D

OH had lots of frequent flyer points from his work trips, but redeeming them was always a nightmare and by the time you had paid the taxes, it was often cheaper to use one of the low cost airlines, assuming it was a short haul flight.

On the other hand, we flew to New York business class for just the cost of the taxes and that was worth it

It is nice and breezy today, but I am tired because I still woke up lots of times during the night.

Hi Sue, and everyone

I had to go to the pharmacy this morning .............. and ended up in the queue behind a lady, a rather large lady, wearing a skimpy tank top and shorts ............ and tattoos all over the place. She had a rather large one at the nape of her neck, that consisted of a couple of hearts, a rose or two, and a couple of names. Try as I might, I couldn't read what it said!

I spent most of the day going downtown to do a wee bit of shopping (cards for OH), followed by booking the train trip, and sorting out the 2 hotels we need.

That all took me so long, that I missed the time for phoning to book the flight up ............. I'm trading in points for that, and that has to be done by phone with the points redeeming service.

They are not open on Sundays ............. but then I discovered that they are not open on Monday either because it's a Stat Holiday in several provinces.

I just hope I can still get seats on the flight we want!

I also have to book plane tickets, redeeming more points, for bringing daughter and grandson out here for a week beginning Sept 27.

Remind me in future NOT to even think about staying in Jasper in the Rockies at the height of the summer tourism season. Hotels are horrendously expensive, even for places that sound pretty grotty from the reviews.

The trip is going to be OH's birthday present, and quite probably also our joint anniversary present as a result!!!

Sis-i-l is really thrilled that we are going up, and OH was also thrilled when I suggested it.

Polishing my halo here :-D :-D :-D :-D

take care everyone

I'm afraid I'm a fuddy duddy too, Linda. The son of my next door neighbour was married a few years ago and the bride's dress was designed to show off her tattoos which are halfway down both arms and down her back. My thoughts are that they won't look good on wrinkly old lady skin.
