That is really good news Jem, I hope he gets stronger every day.

Esme is much the same,she had an MRI scan yesterday which the y assured my daughter was just routine. Apparently it was interesting because my daughter went in with her to keep her still.

They won't get the results until Monday. We are wondering what to do because we want to go on holiday in September and all the flights are selling out rapidly

Oh bum.... just typed a dollop of chat and it all went west..

Off to bed back tomorrow had enough... :-0

Good News Everyone :-)

We think the baby has turned the corner, although still not completely out of the woods, we are now much more confident that he will be ok.

He is off the ventilator and breathing for himself. The tubes that were inserted into a vein in his head for administering the morphine, have been taken out. He is now off pain relief.
The tubes are still in his tummy, but he is doing numbers 1 and 2! He is keeping down the milk that is being given through a tube in his nose.
His eyes are open and he is alert.

My daughter went home last night, as she needed a good sleep as she is feeling poorly, so her husband will spend the day in the hospital today.

Thankyou once again. The support of my friends on both the Welsh and Australian Threads have meant a great deal.

It is sunny here, but I have no plans for today

I've been mopping floors and cooking a couple of meals for the next two evenings - can't get more exciting than that :-D

I always have a laugh with my daughter, we have the same manic sense of humour.

No Linda, she hasn't done any painting. I hadn't mentioned to her that I was painting. She has said that they will have a few spare days when SIL is on holiday at the end of the month, and could come and help then. Daughter loves the new fireplace - I hadn't told her that had been installed either, so she had a surprise.
