That was a very high flying seagull Jemima :-D.
Anyway, if you do go out tonight, take care. I hope you see something to make it worthwhile.

Well I'm off to bed now,

Enjoy your day Sue,
Sleep well Jemima - if you ever get to bed that is :-D

Hello Berona, and Persie,

Goodnight,
Tec. :-)

Sorry - I keep getting the Error Message and it's very annoying. I think I'll sign off for the day.

Sleep well friends <3

Yes I agree Tec. A few years ago we drove a few miles down the road toward Burry Port and made our way in the pitch dark toward the Coastal Path on the beach, but Grandson, who was and still is a little bit, frightened of the dark freaked out a bit. So we went to the Car Park of Sandy Water Park in Llanelli.
OH, who's eye sight is not brilliant, thought he saw one- but it was a low flying Shooting Star- A Sea Gull!!! :-D :-D :-D

That's quite a way to go at night Jemima, on the offchance that you might see something.
Maybe you will think of somewhere nearer where the light pollution is not too bad.

Goodnight Linda - sleep well.

We have a large Velux window in the bathroom. I could always sit in the bathroom all night gazing up at the sky :-D

OH sends in the Sunday Times Crossword occasionally. He won an incredibly expensive fountain pen a few years ago.

I have just been outside to look at the sky, but it is fairly cloudy,so the stars look hazy.

I am off to bed instead of star gazing,so goodnight everyone

I love the Brecon Beacons - we had a look around the area before travelling north to meet up with some very dear friends :-)

Don't mention bacon butty's to Berona :-D

Is Brecon far from you Jemima?

I used to do the South Wales Evening Post's Prize Crossword on Sunday Mornings. I have managed to win it 5 times over the years!!!! But they have discontinued it now.

I didn't see the news this morning Jem, Sunday morning is for reading the Times and having bacon sarnies

Sue I am feeling less tired, and the ulcer is very painful, but the nurses will dress it in such a way as to make it less painful.

I once saw a consultant with it. He asked could I manage to keep my feet above my bottom?
All I could think to say was that I could always walk on my hands :-D
He was not amused, but the Sister had a fit of the giggles :-D

Thankyou all for your support during this difficult time for my family, especially you Linda, as you have been going through it also xx <3

Linda-Did you see the stunning picture on the BBC news this morning, of a rainbow, taken from a hill above it, in Yorkshire?

Hope the nurses will be able to make you more comfortable Tec.
I wish like you and Linda that we had no light pollution. We are wondering where to go, as I only knew this morning that it was tonight, so hadn't thought it out soon enough. Brecon would be ideal, but without planning exactly where and how I don't think we will go there tonight.

I'm fine Tec - I hope you are feeling much better. That ulcer must be making you feel low.

Twenty years ago I might have been game Linda - but I think I would rather be in bed - boring of me I know.......but :-D.

Jemima I admire your enthusiasm - and your energy :-D

Good Morning Sue - How are you this morning?

Hello Jemima - I am a bit better thank you, and will be contacting nurses tomorrow to get treatment for ulcers - on going problem.
I hope you get a clear sky to watch the Perseids. We are lucky here as we have the sea to one side, and mountains to the other, so there is no light pollution here.
Hope you all rap up well as it's quite cold at night now. Much as I would like to see it, I hope to be asleep in my bed.
I did stay up last year with my daughter to see a comet at 2-30am :-)
