I had better go and make some coffee before Sue arrives, you know how grumpy she gets if it isn't ready

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Aug 2013 22:03

Ys, I have noticed you buttering people up :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Aug 2013 21:53

No she hasn't, she knows where her bread is buttered - in fact, if it wasn't for me, I doubt it would get buttered at all :-D

I am after all the chief butterer here.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Aug 2013 21:50

Oh, has the Duchess finally thrown you out then :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Aug 2013 21:46

That's fine - we can take it.

We don't have to listen though, just shrug our shoulders, and move on :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Aug 2013 21:41

Only because they are to be blamed for everything :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Aug 2013 21:39

A second warning is very serious :-D

How quickly girls learn that boys are there to be blamed - for everything :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Aug 2013 21:35

She is fine, just the same, they haven't had any test results yet.

We talked to them on Skype earlier, Eve was wagging her finger at her mum and giving her "a second warning", obviously something she had picked up from play school today. She assured her mum, she hadn't had a warning, she named some boy :-D

Tecwyn Report 13 Aug 2013 21:31

No smiley face - not even a sweet :-\

I even limped round the supermarket after. Had I have had any sense I would have gone there first. Stupid man.

I could put a roller skate on that foot and scoot about the place :-D

How is Esme today?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Aug 2013 21:25

Oh dear, that sounds nasty, I hope they gave you one of those smiley face badges for being so brave

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Aug 2013 21:20

Well I wouldn't go so far as to say "nicely" their intentions were good. Lets just say I can hardly walk now :-(.

but I was very brave - I didn't scream, cry, or growl like a bear. Just left impressions of my nails in the palm of my hand lol.

Have to go back on Friday.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Aug 2013 21:16

Did your ladies tend to you nicely today?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Aug 2013 21:15

I gave them a tent!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Aug 2013 21:09

Well you persuaded Sue and her OH to do just that, for weeks as I recall :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Aug 2013 20:51

It is supposed to be clearer tonight, I wonder if I can persuade OH to lay on his back in the garden in the dark

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Aug 2013 09:55

Good morning. I looked outside before I went to bed, but it was annoying because of the intermittent cloud. I could see the stars shining brightly, but then clumps of cloud would move across them making them look as if they were moving. I gave up and came in.

I have to go to a meeting at the library this morning to do with the delivery scheme. They only happen because the organiser has to tick a box. They are totally pointless, I usually make excuses, but I thought I had better go to this one. Then we are on the delivery rota this afternoon.

Have a lovely day Sue-The Sky is now clear in parts, and the Perseid Thread is saying that they are seeing loads, so I may go see!!! Love Jem :-D <3

My youngest is doing Biology at University and he shares my dislike of introduced animals and insects. He is specialising in insects so he knows how much damage can be caused.

Well I must be off and start my day. Things to do, places to go and people to see :-)

Goodnight Jem <3

~~~~~to anyone looking in <3
It's always the same when humans meddle with nature isn't it Sue, it destroys the natural ecosystem of the area.
I saw a documentary a few months ago which I recorded as my Grandson starts his GCSE Geography lessons in September. It was about the reintroduction of the wolf into Yellowstone National Park. It was from a series called Nature's Micro Worlds. It showed how wildlife thrived once they were there, as the balance of nature was restored. It was very interesting.
SueMaid Report 12 Aug 2013 23:44
The fox were brought here for the enjoyment of upper class people who still wanted to foxhunt as they did in England. They have caused much damage to our wildlife and in Tasmania they are trying to cull them - that's sad in a way because they are only doing what comes naturally.
