I did not much today.

Sat and polished a large brass figure of a rearing horse and handler.

Cooked dinner, and that was it.

How very exciting :-(

We needed beach shoes when we went on our cruise. We were warned about coral on the beach and in the water on the islands we visited. Apparently it can be very nasty if you get a cut from the coral.

I have been listening to AnnC's husband's choir on S4/Clic and the following programme about Joseph Parry. There was a beautiful rendition of his Welsh Classic- Myfanwy. I have C/P the words in both the Welsh and English Version on the Welsh Thread if you are interested.

I have also found this web-site-
Locations of Pembroke Servicemen last resting place (by location). Compiled by Mr Owen Vaughan for lastrp.com (c) 2012
It gives full names, rank, parents/ spouse names, address, battalion, last resting place etc and info on what happened of servicemen from Pembrokeshire. I have been wading through it looking for anything that might be useful/ linked to my family.

Some young petrol heads have special exhausts that make their rusty old heaps sound like Porche's.

My daughter once had a young man who rode a little two stroke motor bike - he would leave our house after I'd gone to bed, and I could hear him buzzing away for miles down country lanes.

Sounded like an angry bee disappearing into the night :-D

We went to your OH's old stomping ground Sue to deliver a box of veg from the allotment to my brother.

Really we wanted to go shopping, OH needs some new sandals, but he has left it too late and he didn't see any he liked. I was pleased because I managed to get a pair of beach shoes very cheap, the sort you go swimming in on stony beaches. I made OH buy some as well. we will need them in a couple of weeks, I am sick of hurting my feet going in and out of the sea

We are unshockable where Tec is concerned Jem ;-)

I think that the young fellow probably likes the sound of his car. Our street is a long one going up and downhill. I could hear it going the length of the street revving up the hills.

So......what have you all done today :-D

The inconsideration of youth!!!! :-|

Hi Sue! Hope you're not too tired!

My OH had great pleasure in telling the Needlework Teacher from my Youth Club, who we bumped into many years later, that she didn't teach me to sew buttons on!!! :-0

Did you all hear about Tec's Fish-Net tights? Shaun spotted him coming over the mountain :-D :-D :-D

Hello - I am awake very early this morning. The young fellow who lives up the street from us has just bought an old car. He must start work early because it roared past our house at 5.30 :-(
