It has been a good summer Linda, we've been lucky in comparision to recent years. I'm hoping we get a nice Autumn too.

How did things fare on the allotment - did you have a good crop of veg etc?

8C is quite cool Sue, but cold sunny days in winter can be quite nice. It's forecast for 18C here tomorrow, and warmer later in the week,

Linda's having 20C tomorrow.

It has been cloudy here, but reasonably warm ,it is going to get better mid week. We are having a good summer this year

Thank you Jem :-)

OH remembers veggie gardens :-) I suppose we take notice of what we're interested in.

Well the sun is out but it's quite chilly - 8C. OH is taking the children to school this morning. Not something we often do these days but our SIL is off up to Sydney to the warehouses and likes an early start.

Thank you Jemima - delicious :-D

I'm like that Sue. I never remember what people have in their houses, I just don't see it.
I do remember the contents of Stately Homes that I may have visited, because I went specifically to see that, but never notice what is in someone's house unless it is pointed out to me.

I do remember peoples gardens though :-D

A nice big dish for you Tec and another put by for you tonight Sue!!!!

It's a bit early in the morning for me Jem - save some for me please.

Men don't notice what people are wearing nor what people's houses look like. My OH once had occasion to go to a very nice house that I've always loved the look of. He couldn't tell me any details of the inside of the house. Very annoying :-|

ooh Jemima - I would love some school pudding and custard - yes please :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 19 Aug 2013 22:00

I don't know how you can remember what I was wearing in Dolthingy - I haven't a clue what you two were wearing - you must have had clothes on, or I would have noticed.

Maybe it's a male thing not to take in what someone's wearing :-D

Thank you Jem, but I think I will pass on that at this time of night.

I am off to make coffee brb

Talking of school- I'm just going to make a lovely school-type pudding- Jam Sponge with custard! Who wants to join me?

Yes of course, Tec - you looked.....er.....wonderful ;-)

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 19 Aug 2013 21:53

Well, judging by the other people in Fairthingy, I can well believe that Tec

OK so the ostrich feather was a little OTT, but I thought the purple suit with the flares was the epitomy of sartorial elegance.

SueMaid Report 19 Aug 2013 21:46

Jemima - I would giggle throughout the meeting thinking of Tec in his school uniform. You wouldn't believe what he was wearing when Linda and I met up with him :-0 We weren't surprised but our OH's are still talking about it :-D

Sometimes I like the meetings Linda but this is going to be boring and I'm going to have to chair the meeting. Our president is rarely at meetings :-(

Tecwyn Report 19 Aug 2013 21:37

Good Morning Sue,

Don't go to the boring meeting - stay with us :-D

JemimaFawr Report 19 Aug 2013 21:36

Hi Sue :-)

Tec has reverted to wearing his old school uniform. Think of that at your boring meeting! It will help relieve the monotony!!! :-D :-D :-D

Jemima I think things are frequently worse after the physio has had a go at you, but they will tell you that is normal :-(

The Duchess had x-rays on her back last week, and may have to go to physio when the results are back. I really can't imagine her going, and if she does, she'll never go back :-D
