You don't really taste the paprika. I love baked garlic cloves,the centres are so sweet when you eat them, they don't taste like garlic

Actually, that sounds rather nice, and certainly different. Wonder what it's like without the paprika, as I don't care for that too much.

Many moons ago when I was a spotty fresh faced youth, I had a girlfriend who's parents were Italian - her mother cooked some amazing Italian dishes. I really enjoyed them :-D

Excuse me, we never eat egg and chips. It was baked Italian sausages and potatoes. Except I don't use Italian sausages :-D

It is chopped up sausages from the local butchers, as you know I wouldn't touch supermarket ones,half a ciabatta cut into chunks, tiny new potatoes and lots of unpeeled garlic cloves. Everything is tossed in lots of virgin olive oil with plenty of paprika. Several large sprigs of Rosemary are buried in it so they don't dry out. It is then just put in the oven. I know it sounds odd, but we like it

Well the packet says cucumbers and they are not tart.

Poor you, I hope it starts to improve soon. Sounds like you need lots of gin to soothe it

My leg is eye wateringly sore today - but I'm remembering I'm British..........

No, they look like lemons, except they have little hairs spikes on the skin. They are an identical shape to a lemon, complete with the knobbly bit on the end and yellow skin. It is a bit weird eating them because they taste like cucumber but your senses tell you to expect a lemon taste
