I assume that Burlingon Arcade is very high end shopping :-D

Looks like we're in for another unseasonably warm day today. I can't help but wonder how long it will last.

My older son is in Darwin. He rang the other day and told us that the humidity is becoming very trying. It is the start of the wet season. It is regularly 33C and where he lives in Hobart it has been around 15 - 18C.

Goodnight Linda - sleep well <3

Linda and I will do very well shopping in the West End. No competition though as Linda is sure to spend so much more than me. She's very high maintenance you know :-D

It will be very interesting. He will almost certainly win - a landslide win I'm sure. The Labour party is too unstable.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Sep 2013 22:31

Sue I see you may get Tony Abbott as next Prime Minister - that could be interesting :-D going by news reports here.

I told my daughter that if I won millions I wouldn't tell anyone as I couldn't put up with the hassle of spending it, but she said she would always help

:-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Sep 2013 22:26

Yes I will do that Linda - though I know he won't look at it, but he knows I don't see him about anything unless it's serious, so may issue them anyway - although he may follow the rules and insist on a swab first to send to the path lab, but that takes days :-0

Nice win, Tec - we're nearly there :-D

We haven't seen the children this week and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms :-(

Jem - my brother's phone yells out "answer the phone" getting louder the longer it's left. Very annoying :-D

They went to recover the boat today Sue. I'm not sure what was wrong with it. They have just gone out again, this time in an inflatable. My daughter is not best pleased!:-|
He is a hard working man. He does loads around the house too!

Well done Tec!
My husband won just over £600 last year. It helped toward our car. We had been saving for a while because our old one broke down and wasn't worth the cost of getting it fixed.

If you don't get antibiotics, make an appointment with the doctor and make him look at it, even if he normally doesn't deal with ulcers

Tecwyn Report 5 Sep 2013 22:17

Good Morning Sue,

I'm hoping to get antibiotics tomorrow if the doctor will issue them.

The cruise is getting nearer - I won £104 on the lottery today :-D

Do they know why the boat sank?

Hi Sue :-)

My daughter popped in about an hour ago. She said her husband's ring tone is a man shouting his name in an urgent fashion over and over , then says oh no it's ..(another name) and then back to his name. Someone rang his phone when he was in the Coastguards boat. The Coastguards thought there was someone else stuck out there!

Hello everyone - you're not doing well over there :-(

We have one of those electronic zapper thingos. Good for mossie bites.

Poor Tec - I can't imagine how painful your leg must be :-( Hopefully you will get some antibiotics very soon.

Jem - what a story :-0 Thank goodness they had a mobile phone.

Huia - I also looked up your ancestor. He was a very large man and sadly died young. I can imagine he had health problems because of his height.
