Uggs I agree they are well "cheeky" to be honest I cringe at the answers they may get.

BUTTTTT

in all fairness maybe some don't realise that even those with findmypast membership have to pay for the 1911 census ...

by the way can someone check me >>>>

I need some info off 1911 but as you have said it is so expensive. I wouldn't be cheeky enough to ask anyone tbh.

I agree Uggers,

It does cost....but thats a price for early release that all were screaming for.;}}}}}}}}

Nobody just cant afford to take on looking up on 1911.

I just ordered 10 certs *gulp* and only spend money on the 1911 when I am absolutely desperate for info.

OH Uggers, I thought more 'technically challenged' than 'dopey', it sounds a bit more refined.

I would try asking for donations on here then, Mrs E - you sound very in need.

You sound as dopey as me Julia, although I did get there in the end ;)

Jac Report 15 Jun 2009 17:53

Ah well, I did manage to get some info.that way Uggers, but I was actually referring to the Welsh Counties which are now on, and which unfortunately have arrived to coincide with a purse-tightening exercise in the Etches household)))))))

Jac, there was a cheat early on til it got sussed and you could work out the addresses and everyone in the household for nothing. I was at it for hours:)

Uggers

Uggers Report 15 Jun 2009 17:49

It's a bit costly Julia isn't it:)

Jac

Jac Report 15 Jun 2009 17:48

I cant afford to look up my own lot, let alone look up people for complete strangers. I'm going to have to wait until I get enough information to be certain of a hit!

in other words, I'm skint! )))

Julia

Julia Report 15 Jun 2009 17:44

I joined on a thread just after it became available, to say much the same thing Uggers. And it's not cheap either

I can't believe how many folk are asking for 1911 look ups all over the net. Don't they know how much it costs?
