Pippa Dee clothes are making quite a lot on eBay

Typicaly my daughter helped me clear out all of my 60's, 70's & 80's clothes a couple of years ago.

My mum brought me my floating Cilla Black performing orange and lace nylon nighty from Pippa Dee when I was five I wouldnt take it off when washed I would stand jumping up at the washing line snatching at till it was dry so I could wear it again needless to say it fell a part finally to which I progessed to my older sisters bigger lemon floaty Cilla Black performing and lace nylon nighty which she refused point blank to wear..

My friend was a Pippa Dee host, or party thingy in the late 80's and early 90's she used to have to buy all the garments in her stock to sell them to make Pippa Dee a profit...

I remember Pippa Dee Parties - but, like tupperwear parties, I never went.......... LOL (Yes!!! Credibility retained!)

AnninGlos Report 2 Jun 2009 09:49

yes, went to the parties and wore the clothes, children also wore the clothes. Remember the culottes? I had a hostess 'gown' in orange and black that I wore a lot, in the 70s we used to wear long skirts/dresses out for meals in the evening.

I used to be a Hostique rep which was a similar party plan to pipadee but not as well known.

Ooh Kay,of course we all remember! Most of us are the right generation after all......pmsl

I had a lovely (drop dead sexy of course) long pink negligee set that I adored.
ooh I remember it slid over my hips and made me all shapely.
omg HIPS i remember them.
I ordered it in a 14 and needed a 12! think the sizes were big.
Couldn't get a size 12 on one leg these days LOL
plus todays young women think a 12 is FAT.
