Yes I do sometimes, would be lying if I said otherwise. Usually, though, it's not when I'm on my own!!!

My sister used to drive me mad when were kids and it would be the school holidays, after a few days it would be "I'm bored" was the constant words out of her mouth, I would suggest numerous things to do which were always answered with "No I don't want to do that.'

I don't have time to get bored, I can have times when I am doing very little though never bored. I did write on my meeting notes (my own personal notes so no one else saw) the other day that I was bored as I had to sit and listen to a hours worth of finance account ledger information that I did not need to know about before we got to the point in the meeting that I needed to be involved in.

Yes I do (sorry Susan we'll have to share the prize).

My life has changed quite drastically in the last 6/7 months. I used to be so active, out and about all the time, but have to spend a lot more time indoors now. I'm trying to come to terms with it and finding new things to do but when the sun's shining
I do find I get bored (:

Ah Elizabeth - I'm the chairman of the meetings I go to and if they start to drone on or get stuck I move them along at a faster pace lol.

Berona I'm busier now than I was when the family were all at home:))

Trust you Susanwithnumber to be different:))

Dear All

How can anyone get bored?!

Work
Housework
Children
Family

Its a thing called LIFE.

The only time I am bored is when sitting in an endless
work meetings with people who do not want to do anything.

Meetings are an excuse not to work.
Nothing gets done and no actions are taken
to improve things.

If I am worried, I try to wash part of a floor.

Best wishes to all
xx

Yes Sue! :-( ( just to be different :-)...

I have just spent the most boring evening discussing how I would spend my imaginary lottery win ( don't ask why lol ). ( just to be sociable..) when I asked the other person what they would do.....I just got....'I don't know...never thought about it'....the most boring answer and conversation killer ever given imo...whatever the subject.......Do I get a prize for giving a different answer :-))))

Edit: Ok so the subject was boring.....but better than talking about the price of door knobs lol

LOL Berona - my children dread my demise - they saw the state of their great grandmother's house !!!

But as I have told them - forewarned is forearmed!

However, they won't fnd the £800 under the sofa cushion , nor the love letters!

Berona - I live by what my gran ( in 'service' at 14) used to say -
'The housework will still be there in the morning - so what's the rush!'

Never! I've been through the stages of raising a family; then working full time and having a large home and adult family still at home, etc. and I coped very well.

Now, I'm retired, living alone in a villa and I don't seem to have any more time than I had before. I move at a slower pace - I do what I like - and never seem to have time to do it all. These days, I feel more guilty than I used to feel, because the work is waiting. However, it CAN wait!! I'm retired - and making the most of it!

I never get bored! I'm an expert of the dying art of .....doing nothing - and I enjoy it!!!
'Im busy doing nothing - working the whole day through - trying to find lots of things not to do..........'
