I have no idea what went on tinight - I was looking all day - then went to watch some TV and it seems something unpleasant went on.

I'm so pleased I have a short memory when it comes to names - people change them and I don't know who the hell they are.
I've had a few 'run-ins' on here before, but I don't have a 'book of names' so if they've since changed their name, I'm probably speaking to then as if nothing had happened!!

Ignorance can be bliss sometimes!! LOL

Maggie someone put up a leaving thread and when they didnt get the replies they wanted they deleted and then someone else put a thread being so upset and they deleted for the same reason...

I'm not too upset about the fb "friend of a friend."

I am upset about Caz. She's been a friend to me & whilst I can still stay in touch with her, I'm sad that she's upset. She is still my friend btw.

I never thought we should decide our friends on who else they talk to, and I never will, but I know some people do. And sometimes for understandable reasons.

Just feeling a bit crap about it all.

I can understand how you came to that conclusion Maria but from my point of view.........

It was only where ONE particular member was concerned.......the one sending out death wishes.......where I said I'd break a rule and judge others who were stand ing up for her........

NOT anyone else........never.

I can only speak for myself......but I know from experience that people take you as they find you......if you show you want to belong and have a laugh .......you will invariably have a great experience on here.

If you want to lie, play the victim, do things that REALLy hack others off then you wont (I'm not saying Caz did that btw cos she didn't necessarily just used it as an example)

You're a sound girl from what I've seen ........so you have a friend who is not mutual.......so what? It's YOU I chat to.....not your mates........

Caz and I have had our differences in the past but I can honestly say it has not affected who I do and do not talk to on the boards.

From what I have seen you are very even handed and I am sure the deletion from FB was just coincidence.

You're probably right, it probably was a coincidence, I was quite distressed by Caz leaving last night, on top of all the nastiness that's been going on, and as someone said to me the other night, this place can make you a little paranoid.

I didn't see Caz's thread as it was deleted before I did, I did see Mels and as she deleted as well they normally come with " this thread will self distruct in ** mins " I thought this thread was in reply to hers, So I had no idea until this Morning that Caz had named me personally as her reason for leaving, as she said that I wouldn't tell her what she had 'sposed to have done... I think if she looks back I did send her a pm and covered everything as to why "I "choose to keep away from her..Maria who ever you choose to be friends with is your business and no one elses. Have a lovely Friday and weekend...

But will speak to anyone ,regardless who their friends are

I'm not into not speaking ot someone because of who their friends are, so you're safe there LOL

But I will say one thing. There is no way my family is going to be put at risk because of someone who makes a habit of publicising personal and sometime confidential stuff about people, and I had to delete a certain person because from my FB because of the risk of a certain someone else getting to my info and and family members through their profile and friend list. Simple as that really.

I've been deleted from peoples FB without an explanation, no reason whatsoever, although I asked....but I'm not losing sleep over it, as it turns out it was the same person who loves to send round private stuff so it's just as well really.

I agree, a persons friends shouldn't be a reason for not speaking - but the problem arises when you find out that someone you have been speaking to has passed personal information that has been used to cause distress.

So on my part, I won't exchange any communications with anyone whom I have the slightest suspicion of being in any way connected to the lunatic element.

I've been looking for an appropriate thread to put this on - this was the nearest I could find, so .................

Last night Caz cited myself and several others who are friends of mine on and off the boards, in her leaving thread - reason, because each of us for our own reasons had deleted her from our Facebook list and severed the ties of contact.

When Caz's friend Catherine of Manchester helped to publicly disclose conversations from a private FB group, each of us lost a good number of friends/aquaintences of off here and facebook, and along with that we sat and took all the flack that was thrown around thereafter - all without complaint!!

I don't suppose Caz stopped to think about these consquences to all of us, as she wished people good luck with their blogs and continued aligences with people who betrayed and spewed hatred at others.........

And the upshot is, that most folk are now seeing and realise that what was discussed wasn't so bad, that truths had been twisted, and in fact many have found themselves agreeing with our sentiments and seen certain others, finally, in their true light.

At the end of the day I talk to anyone - if they choose to ignore that's their perogative - and whilst i might forgive an injustice, i never ever forget - so if i choose not to communicate with someone on those grounds then that is my choice and i don't have to justify it.

i talk to who i want when i want and if my friends dont like it tuff
were not int he playground now and i have lost friends beacaues they have asked me to choose "they lost lol" a true friend would never expect you to stop tlakin to someone just because they dont like them
