Lol Daff, you do easily get waylaid don't you. I thought our Range was a bit in need of a delivery there were empty spaces on the shelves especially the loose 12x12 papers. Still I got two sheets 12z12 well reduced (vellum) then a few christmas bits that didn't need to be used at christmas Then lots of bits and bobs I didn't know I needed Lol!! including a dinky little antiquing tool which fascinated me and I am SURE will be very useful Lol!!! Then we got boring things like birdseed and a bit for the outside tap and spent over £40. Having already spent £10 on two cushions in Sains****s. Had a good morning and nor must get lunch before I fade away!

Wmsl... well, I am back... it didn't take as long as I expected it too... all now done and dusted.... and I am now back out to play, lol

We just had a bit of an upheaval, but all now resolved... erm, BC, that lovely item I was knitting? weeeeellllllllll it's like this, see.... I was multi tasking.... as we do, being ladies wot can an' all..... only... I kept forgetting which bit of multi belonged to which task... and your dinky little garment is now securely stuck to my Christmas Scrap page...... it does lend a certain Jern ness seh kwah to it, though ;¬))

Ann... the Range have got LOADS of lovely stuff coming in... and bins full of very reduced Christmas stuff... if I had the strength, I'd have just dragged the bins to the check-out, lolol

*whispers* Mummo, I hate knitting.... I don't mind crochet, and used to love sewing... but glitter and glue is my latest obsession!

Maz... my landscape gardener is just soooo cute... but have to say, his little baby boy is just so much cuter, lol..... he pops around with him every so often so I can get a cuddle! In the spring, I will be having the front of my garden *done... the side and the back have been finished and are wonderful.

I had a busy day planned today.... I need to make room in fridge, freezer and cupboards for the *big Shop* delivery this afternoon... all the soap powder, cat food, tinned stuff etc etc will be here this afternoon.... but true to form, I have been carried away, took some stuff upstairs to put away in our bedroom, and started sorting out drawers and stuff there... then one of my brother's phoned.... so I chatted to him for an hour (the one with his and hers matching laughs, Ann, lol he's lovely) and we are all going to get together and have a meal out in Cardiff, and do a show as well. just need to figure out which one yet, lol I have a suspicion that this could turn into a big family event!!

Erm.... where was I? Oh yes, so I was distracted yet again... then I saw the picture frames... R brought in some photo paper he had tucked upstairs... so I started printing off photos for the frames... and in between all that, typing this up!!

Must go and have a shower, and finish off the kitchen.... ;¬))

A grey morning here too and we are very lazy as we have only just got up (0930), better go and get some breakfast. Not a lot planned for today, might go to the range and looking at carpets for this room.

Good morning all:-) Cold and grey here at the moment, am having my second strong coffee and I can feel the life come into my bones!

This is a secret, but I have a feeling that Daff is knitting me a surprise something or other.``You know all those sequins and glittery stuff shes been buying? hmmm wonder what it will be? I am excited!!

Well am off to the park with dog, am still carrying her up the stairs outside but she seems lots better. I suppose I am a dogs version of a Stannah Lift...lol....

Hi Mau and Jude. Our snow has turned to rain now and of course we have minor flooding on the roads so no doubt it will be more serious where it usually floods.

Mau I managed to find a couple of reduced craft packs I didn't need in home sense, then a couple of baking trays plus the tea towels I needed to get for daughter. In B&Q I failed, but OH managed to get what he wanted and we looked at hard wearing carpet for this room. My chair has 'killed' the carpet we had. We looked at hard wearing carpet tiles, need something that will not suffer from the wheels on my desk chair. Going to have a think about that. It is a daunting job because so much stuff will have to be moved out - bed settee, three drawer sets, two sets of book shelves full of books etc etc, Ugh!!

Its still snowing here but not doing anything as it was already too wet, aprt from the fields leading up to the Kymins, it looks quite pretty up there:o)

Off out in a mo to do the charity shop run with me sster. We've had 2 charity bags through the door, one l know is not a real charity cause l checked them out on .........
