There are only two household chores that I enjoy, ironing and cooking. |

Hi Julie - I hate ironing and would gladly pay someone to do it, if I could afford to. |

One of mine has someone in to do the ironing....must admit I was a bit gobsmacked when I found out lol, but I suppose if one can afford it and the need is there, then why not. |

Why not if you have the cash and would rather be doing other things with your time. |

Oh yes I dont do ironing I hang things and dont use the tumble dryer for things that may crease and need ironing . Hubby knows if he needs a shirt ironed then the steam press is there for him to use!! we are both retired so fair doos we both can use the iron press. |

I don't have any ironing! We don't have any shirts in this house and that helps of course. Our trick is to hang the damp clothes in the airing cupboard in such a way that they dry crease-free. Now and then an item of clothing does need ironing but only if it is made out of a fabric which creases. |

lol Cat... that is the next step... there is a drug that can be given which is sort of like a bone marrow viagra.... but it can stimulate too quickly and it can be quite painful, lol... not into pain, me!! They often use it it in bone marrow and stem cell transplants. I think I'll go along the natural conception route ;¬)) |

I would if I could afford to. I have to admit that I rarely iron, I tend to use my dryer so just lift things out and fold them. At the moment it's broke but I still don't iron if I can avoid it. I also avoid buying too much of things that will need ironing. I do iron the kids uniforms though. |
