Dutch asked me to put another post up for her. She has broken her glasses and can't see much so can't use computer. She also stubbed her toe the day before and now has a sore foot, all this on top of her feeling ill. Talking to her last night, every other word was a yawn, and she is sleeping all the time so I told her to get a check up, she may be anaemic (sp), Jan is telling her she is very pale lately so he must be worried.
She said she will be back when she can get some more glasses and can see properly.
Sending you a big hug Joyce cos you sound like you need some.

Just seen this as I have had kids all weekend and couldn;t get on for very long.

Hope Jan and Joyce are on the mend, and soz to read of Jans cousin.

Expect Jan and Joyce have been so worried, they have forgotten to eat properly, and we know what Joyce is like for forgetting to take her medication.

Now that Jans mum is home, try to get some rest and relaxation.

Thank you all for your posts. Liz, Joyce doesn't know if he has diabetis, I asked her if it was that. Don't forget Joyce is only family by marriage as well, both her and Jan have an appointment for their diabetis tomorrow. Hope things are ok as Jan hasn't been too well lately, could be all the worry.

Hope Jan's cousin is ok after his op. I think it might be due to gangrene from diabetes, which seems to be in the family. I hope it makes Jan and Joyce more diligent about keeping their appointments and being strict with themselves with the diabetes restrictions on diet etc, would hate to hear of them having similar problems.

How much more can Jans family take?Joyce has just been on the phone to me and she asked me to put this on.
Jans cousin has to have his leg off from below the knee, She doesn't know exactly why yet but thinks it's because of gangrene.
Can we all send the family positive thoughts, they have had so much trouble recently.

I have just been speaking to Dutch and Jans mum came home yesterday. She has had a virus, she told Jan she thought she was dying it was so bad.
Dutch asked me to put this up as she is feeling badly herself, in fact she said lousy so is going back to bed.
