Oh goodness Izal was the first ones mum bought after the War when we thought we were a bit above the newspaper. Nasty rough things they were too,At the height of luxury then Mum would buy the packs that dispensed them as individual sheets.Still rough tho and very unpliable!! |

Well remember the torn newspaper squares held together with a bit string in the outside lavvy in the 1940,s You really had to NEED to wipe your BTM after loo visit cos it wasnt a pleasant experience,BUT then in WW2 it was make do & mend!!. |

Andrex Quilted,little more expensive but can use less,as long as you are not one of these people that wraps it round the hand several times before snapping it off.lol.I seem to spend a fortune on the stuff. |

If you buy the cheap ones they are usually so thin that you end up using more rolls than you would if you bouht the better quality. Cant recommend newspaper, very hard on the bum and not successful at cleaning, so more washing! |
