Finger in your ear doesn't work. i have had it for over 20 years now. I guess you do learn not to 'listen' to it. |

Jenxx Yep thats it .The pitch can change though .I find I always have a finger in my ear to try and waggle it away!!!!!!!!!.It doesn't work. |

I have it just one ear,and I find if I sleep on the ear that doesn't buzz it's bad ,but if I have the bad ear on the pillow it is better.Trouble is I can't stay sleeping on one side all night lol. |

It's called "white noise" you have something in your room that makes a constant low noise, for some people a fan will do it, you may have to experiment to see which works best for you... |

How do you cope with night time when everything is quiet and you just hear this buzz or humm in your ear.I wake up and think I hear the pump still running in the airing cupboard or the tumble drier is still going.I know they aren't but still have to get up and check.Is it just a matter of getting used to it . |
