Oh Mac,

I am so so sorry to hear that you've been so ill, do take care my friend ... sorry too to hear about your sister, will put her in my prayers, pray she's on the road to recovery soon. What a horrid time it's been for you, still is ...

Would you mind if I gave you a friendship hug ...

(((((((((((((((friendship hug))))))))))))))))

A hug always makes me feel better.

When my brother was in Intensive Care I truly needed so many hugs, support too.

Princess Shimmer

Love red grapes the best, followed by green and then black.
Can taste them already, doing my throat a power of good - thanks!

I live in Plymouth having moved here just over 2 years ago from Sheffield where I had lived for 21 years - originally born in a little two street, blink your eyes and you've passed it village in Derbyshire.

Am so pleased you're not on your own.

3 large bunches of grapes: red, green, purple ... seedless too. :)

What part of Devon Stephanie, have family there.

Thanks to you all.
I am not really on my own as I live in a "granny" flat with my son and his family in glorious Devon. My two grandsons, one 18 (at Sports College) and one 22 (at Uni) are always popping down to the "Dragon's Dungeon" as they call my place - very affectionately of course!! My granddaughter 26, lives in Southampton and keeps in touch by 'phone.

Thanks for the soup and other goodies - feeling better already.
Were the grapes red, black or green?

Love & Cuddles to you all

Sending you comforting ((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))) Stephanie. I have a flu jab every year and not suffered even a cold till this last one and I was off my feet for a couple of days thats all, not even long enough for hubby to feel sorry for me and start cooking lol

I have succumbed to flu. It all started on Saturday with what I thought was a cold - how wrong can you be!! By Saturday evening I was languishing in bed where I have remained ever since. It hit me not just like a ton of bricks but several tons still in their lorries, combined with the Salvation Army, complete with big bass drum, marching around in my head. I don't know where I don't ache - even my little toes are tender!
(I am not a man so you can see I really do not feel well). This year for the first time I had a flu jab - I have obviously got one strain not covered by the jab - just my luck!!!
Still, the one upside is that I can sit in bed and read all your lovely notes and thoughts - they really have cheered me up - keep 'em coming - thanks a lot!!
