Little Maddie being born this morning, Alko's first grandchild.

Lows

Alko rushing to hospital ... her daughter, earlier this evening.

Lows....................husband having 2 operations and still needing one more.

High....................he will be completely well again after this one

Low.....................daughter being desperately ill during her pregnancy

High......................Baby born safely on 2nd December.

Low......................Baby admitted to hospital on 23rd December with nasty infection

High..................He came home today and we have had a wonderful belated Christmas dinner

Hopes for 2009 are that we can have a much healthier year.

High ... finally got to the top of the list for op.

Low ... some stupid bloke let his 20yr old son use his car on the Sunday before Christmas... In the process of showing of his fast driving... he lost control & demolished the 17th century Tollgate Cottage at our woodyard. The car ended up in the room where my brother in law was sitting dozing in front of his telly.

High ... my brother in law & the 17yr old dog were very shocked ... but all involved were unharmed.
...
Hopes ... that he was insured to drive the car... that the rest of the winter is mild (Brother & Sister in Law are now living in the yard in a caravan)

Highs ... Being up with my little sis Alko til well gone 3am this morning holding her hand whilst her daughter was in labour, being woken at 6.30am by her so excited, telling me Maddie Ella had arrived in the world at 5.30am.

For me it was the worst of years coz I took someones advice and bought a Dyson.
Then, it was the best of years when I took it back and bought a good ol' Hoover.lol

You have the New Year to look forward to Mike ..... no use living in the past ! LOL

lol With all my readers I could have had a Xmas best seller lol Am sure it is still lurking in my documents somewhere. I feel quite depressed now that Xmas is over
