I'm here now Shelly, I'm sure my husband and son have a pact to keep me off my lappy on a weekend. Every time I get near it - one of them wants me to do something. I logged on at about 7.30 this morning and I've only just managed to sit down to type something.

Who's Stephen? I'll have to go back and read the posts from yesterday. We went to see friends yesterday and didn't get home till after midnight.

I am not kidding when I said it was BIG it really was. recall them showing a Banana spider on Tv once that someone found in their fruit this was like that. my middle finger the body was that long but thick black fur..
I keep going and looking around my kitchen now. I wonder if their was a mummy spider with this bid one.
I otfen get up and get a glass of milk during the night and dont bother to put the light on guess who is going to put a light on in future ME.
I use to get a lot of spiders in Norfolk they came in October I watched them scuttle along the carpet, me I was brave I had my feet high on a chair.my husband had no fear of spiders he use to say you see bigger than this when your out in the middle east.

I went for a short walk this morning to post two letters to friends in Norfolk I had , had theirs for over a week so answered them last night and posted them this morning.
I called into Waitrose to get some boil in the bag rice so I could do chinese tomorrow. I notice they are sponsering Surrey Air Ambalunce this time so thats good last month they did it for The Royal Surrey Cancer Hospital the one I attend.
The sun has come out now it is rather nice out.

Morning all, hope you are all ok. Have got a new keyboard with keys with larger letters on, it is great, can see what I'm typing now. oh dear another sign of old age I suppose.
Have got my 5 month old Grandaughter with me for the day, so dont think I will be resting very much.
Looks like Shelly was having fun last night, lol.
Hope you enjoyed your BBQ MO, and the weaather kept fine for you.Should do some ironing today, but with baby here think I will give it a miss.

Rita I would have screamed so loud that it would have woken up the whole neighbour hood, I hate those big black & brown huge great spiders, they come every September I always get about 8 an average every year.
Before I go the bed from now on I'll be on the look out , because your one has come a bit early I'm going to have my wits about me !!
Pete just casually picks them up and either puts them down the loo or out the window they go......just the thought of them makes me shiver.......

Shelly I have reported you for waste of paper !!!
I bet she's in bed now and will not get up until midday ..LOL

We had a great night last night my dinner was superb. I have say that myself ....BIG HEAD ..LOL

Its beautiful here today , my carpenter is here putting a new Front door in.
so could not have had a better day.

Good Morning all Ladies and Gentleman.
The weather here is very overcast the sky is grey might be because it is early.
I made myself f a cup of tea this morning at 6 o'clock sat and drank that. then took the cup to pour the remains into the sink so I could go off and have a shower. I saw the biggest spider I have seen in ages in my sink I let out a scream. forgot it was 6 ish in the morning. I watched the spider run around in the stainless steel sink. didnt want to drown him. so I cover him with a small plastic tumbler and left him there. had the shower he was still there.I kept taking a look to see if he remained he did I found a piece of cardboard. I planned this if he ran up the beaker I would cover the board over him open the window and throw him out he didnt he just scurried around a bit then went back to where he was orginally.
That sink is not going to be used to day. I saw a friend John who had been to buy his newspaper and asked him could he remove him he did he took the spider out to the front and the little devil didnt want to leave the tumbler. he went eventually. I sighed with relief.
then started typing this all out to you all and wishing you a good day. what happened. ? it went and an advert for Orange came on.
I think I am in for trouble today.
anyway I wish you all a happy Sunday.

How was the BBQ Mo? It rained a few times here yesterday, after I had been round and watered of course.

Still knitting............... this wool is lilac, pink. peach and lemon with white Mo, it's pretty and goes well.

Popped in on friends after we'd been to Wokingham yesterday, The men went to the local for a beer and the lady and myself stayed at the house and had tea !!! We had a nice chat, they would like to go to Brussels with us. So we need to sort out when it will be possible.

I'll try to get back later.

made me and you tea with buns

well i have just put the photo onto the computer from my digital camera it amazes me as we had very hot sunny weather and I mean really hot yet they have all come out with a deep blue sky. I only have one that was a bit misty must have shaken my hand when I took that one.

we had more rain early this afternoon and I fell a sleep for half and hour I must be getting old.

anyone done anything interesting to day or are you all having a lazy day..

My friend left me with a BBC History Magazine this morning so I am going to take a look through that, they have some interesting things in it.

Mo I cannot bake myself a cake at the moment let alone my son. he told me he brought loads of cakes for his friends at work yesterday he ate two his self and felt sick I told him serve him right for being a piggie. he took the others home and said the kids soon got rid of them.
He does not look his age I must say that for him. he works hard and his lesiure is fishing (fresh water ) he is a keen angler and I think it is the right hobby for him being as he works so hard being a computer consultant.
while he was here my friend called in then the phone went it was like a mad house it was my daughter telling me she finds it difficult to use her crutches but she is getting on with them. and in the back ground I could hear my friend and my sons chating away about computers

He left just before 12 to get to the Post Office he had a parcel to post off to Italy.it went very quiet when they all vanished.then it started to rain but now the sun is out. so I have the best of two worlds this morning.

Yep Stephen, I am a biscuit dunker. But I always have a spoon handy to get the bits from the bottom of my cup, I cant stand it when I get to the bottom, and there they are,I just cant drink the dregs of the cup, unless they are gone.
Oh by the way welcome to the friendlies, wether you are a dunker or not, we don't mind.

I can't believe how early you lot were up this morning. Couldn't you sleep or something.
I woke up at 8.30, after a restless night. It was so hot under the duvet, but even though I had thrown it off, I still found myself under it again.
I wonder how we manage to do these things in our sleep, without even realising we are doing it.

Jean, what have you got planned for today then love. We are supposed to be going to our daughters for a BBQ, providing the weather cheers up a bit. It was very wet when we got up,but the sun is trying to break through now. So fingers crossed for us.

Shelly must still be in bed,she was a real late owl last night. I think that the visit to Thorpe Park must have exhausted her. And she's going to Chessington this coming friday, my lord she will really be cream crackered after that as well.

I forgot to tell you Linda, I made enquiries about the wool with the fleck at our local shop. And guess what, she is refurbishing her shop, and should have all the new wool in by next week. Yippee, a new stock to look at. She is very limited on what she carries at the moment, but has had a lot of enquiries about carrying a larger variety of baby wools.
So I will let you know how I get on.

I have had a shower and had breakfast this morning .so as I did not open the threads I did not look to see if anyone had made tea.
so I made my own. SHAME

My son John is coming today for a few hours, he is often on call so I dont get to see him that often now as I use to. but at least he is working.thank goodness.

It is his birhtday today I wont tell how old as it makes me feel old and I am really young. Lol.
I am pleased everyone is keeping well and happy. I noticed sue had logged in on someones birthday so she is still about. Sue have you forgotton us ?

It rained here during the night quiet heavy but it has done the garden good stopped now so you can smell the fresh grass through the open windows.
I love that.
