I went to bed earlier then woke at three - thirty cursing someones car alarm going off I thought great I wont sleep now until someone switches it off.then I found it was my telephone I must have knocked the handset in the bedroom why it waited till 3.30 in the morning to go off I have no ideal

Time to dig into Stephens breakfast bits not allowed Grapefruit because of the warfarin but I am going to have a good meal this morning.

feeling very stressed and as it rained hard o.h. took car yesterday so I couldn't go out, it rained too hard. I felt really unwell so didn't do a lot but means I have more to do today and tomorrow and he is here till 9.30pm each evening cos he is only doing 8 hr nights tonight and Weds night. I still have errands to do in the city and need to colour my hair but didn't feel up to doing anything on Monday. Will just be glad when it's over and the other son has gone back to NY

Won't have much chance to get on here till after the Wedding but send you all my love and best wishes and thanks for the support.

Do you have the idione injections when you have a scan ? I have never had any comeback on them before today. If it was that. ? I know they do have a reaction on some people. I was hot and sweating and felt really ill I was worried as my chest felt as if someone was sitting on it. that is a first as well.
I have the doctors tomorrow blood test to be done 2 for PMR and the other for my warfarin level.
I asked if the Idoine would make any difference he said it would go off by tomorrow.
The pains have gone now well almost.
I will tell the hospital when I go for the results at The Royal Surrey what happened see what they say ? I hope my scan will be alright and it is not that result that caused all this. ?
I wear a red wrist band for penicillon as I am alergic to that.

I cannot beleive it is nearly September I was writing my birthday card list out as I buy the cards a week before some times two weeks before and I was so surprised September is a busy month for cards.

4 months and we will be writing Christmas cards out. My Grandson has his new posting he will be away 6 months not in Afganistand this time. I was so pleased to hear.
My son who is a Paramedic is now back at work he has been off with acheilles heel since last October he said he is so pleaed he was really fed up being home. he did it while lifting a patient. his daughter is getting married next September and he wants to save to pay for the wedding it will be a big do in Dorset
she has all the booking done already.

Shelly our darts season starts again in October, thank god. I am getting out of practise.

I am out of practise having an 18 year old around. She is such a nice kid, but apart from going out spending money, I don't know how to keep her entertained.
She is spending a lot of time on her lappy, or watching t.v. Her boyfriend
has been here most of the time with her.
They were supposed to be riding over to his house this evening, they were gone about fifteen minutes,and they were back.
At the moment they are up in her room.. Ahhh my ears are listening out for any strange sounds. You never know, I may learn something. lol

Hope it passes , if I was given Iodine I blow up , everything swells , not nice at all.

Rita I'm so sorry to hear you are feeling poorly, why not ring your GP and have a word with him. I have never had those reactions when I have my scans. Take care of yourself.

well I have been and had my scan done I was asked had i had one before I said every three months for the past two years. I did not feel right this time I seem to be in there along time under the polo mint. when I came out of the room I felt giddy and sat down a sister came along and said are you all right love I go and get you a cup of tea. I told no I just want to get home. I was then feeling really strange I had pains in my neck and my chest. didnt say any thing incase they wanted to keep me there. I still feel odd I have a headache and pain in my chest but it is going off now.
This the first time I have this feeling I have to wait two weeks then phone the cancer hospital for an appiointment for my results i shall tell them .It could be the idione injections they give me.

when I was small I wore a McCallum Kilt one day and a Campbell another.to keep the peace in the family
. The males wore nothing under their Kilts in the Army.

The sporran is used to carry money and things like a handkerchief. The knife you see at the top of the right sock is a 'Skean Dubh' or translated this means Black Knife. Seriously though. Most folk were boxer shorts. Purely in the interests of decency and hygiene. The only exception are Scottish Soldiers.....they do NOT wear anything. And thats a fact.

There is a photo going around of a Scottish Soldier sitting next to HM the Queen and is clearly showing that he is wearing nothing underneath.. The Queen has a big smile on her face....wonder why.
