Afternoon everyone
Well it is awful here today. I got up early and was having a quiet day today with no little................ she's at the photographers with her Mum today. Lazed around and did some research, rectifying some infor on my Great Aunts family........................followed the wrong parents of her husband, silly me( sisters fault really !!! )
Just got dressed and there was a ring on the doorbell. It was the Green Thumb man to treat the lawns, I'd forgotten OOPs. Washing was out , one lot dried, then It poured !!! and hasn't stopped since. So a very soggy dark wash is still hanging on the line, well rinsed, but can't bring it in tooo wet.

Off to the newly weds tonight for dinner cooked by her.

Not looking good for the show tomorrow. Soaked fields and marquees with a buggy and limping husband doesn'tsound much like a fun day. Might opt out and stay home.

I have never heard of anyone having a reaction before your the first.
I have had 8 scans over the last two years and this will be the first time I have felt that ill. so I dont know what it was. whether it was the scan itself or the injection.
It could have been the Warfarin for all I know. I am waiting to see if I get a call from my Doctor at the surgery incase that test was giving trouble as well. it is called "The Waiting Game "
It will be three weeks before I get the scan results.

So you are going to be Posh then having your hair done with highlights ?

we have had a warning on the radio about expected heavy rain this lunchtime in Surrey. I was going to post some cards off but will leave it till tomorrow.I have to have one special for Arlington America where my Nephew lives.

I am catching up on the DFHS Mag at the moment then I am going to do my dinner
.I finished the washing and it is all dried. I might wash my hair this afternoon and be posh as well.as you.no highlights though .

Hi Rita,

What a worry for you , well at least they are keeping an on you.

Rita you asked about my scan .....the Iodine... well the last time I had one they had to ask permission from the Consultant as its on my records, I dont know what they did whether they reduced it or mixed it with something else , but I had to wait a long time for them to discuss it and made me wait 1 hour after,
just in case any reaction.
But I was OK .
If Iodine is put on my skin it blows it right up ....Big time !!

Now off to have my hair done..~~~~~~~~~~~

Just thought I would let you know I had a phone call from the hospital this morning about my Warfarin blood test. the sister ask me questions was I well had I recovered from my virus ? then she told me they were worried about me as the blood test showed the level far too high. and I must not take the warfarin tablets today. I will get the letter from the hospital today or tomorrow and had to cut the tablets down from five a day to four. I have an early blood test appointment as well. now I am wondering what my PMR will show up will I get a phone call from my Doctors ? I wonder.
so I have three weeks now to see if anything shows up from the scan as well.
life gets a bit hard from time to time.

Morning to those who are up and about. I have been up for 2 hours. and now feel tired as I did not sleep well last night.

I watched" Coast "last night which took you around parts of the Scottish coast brought back some happy memeories especially when they stopped at Stone Haven.

Marilyn have you told us your age ? I cannot remember ? Lol. I suppose I am a silver sufer except I have not got silver hair it is still dark not as black as it was before.in my younger days.
as soon as I logged on I knew that Pauline was found and well all those jokes that appeared.

I have just finished eating two slices of Toast and on my second cup of tea. now I need to collect my washing up to get that done.this morning.

Yes I'm reporting her safe and back although a little tired....so she says ,............well we have to believe her...... because she is honest and I have told her that she really needs to go away for a weekend in an luxury Heath Hotel and get pampered

Well lets borrow it because I'm a good navigator I have a hubby that's was a navigator in his younger days of course ... so have learn' t a lot from him .....you can trust me with your Yacht....we all on Friendly including the WIFE could all go around the Med on it ....just for the weekend .....LOVELY ..eh girls ??

Rita, Strength.......none... just a belief in being able still to do a handstand (without breaking my neck)

Marilyn.....my brothers, 7 of them, with one exception, were all Scottish Soldiers. They served in the Gordons, Argylls, Black Watch and Kings Own Scottish Borders my dad was a Scots Guard. My oldest brother and I were sailors. In total my family have nearly 150 years of Service to our Country.

Pauline....guess my age indeed.....and me a strong believer in 'Tir-nan-Og'. Do a google for that one. In fact my yacht is called Tir-nan-Og.

We don't get too old to play....we get old because we don't play!!!!! Anyone for Hide and Go Seek?

I refuse to grow up.
Growing older is unavoidable....growing up is optional.
A local Council in Scotland has developed a Play Park for the over 60s only....no children allowed. Swings, Chutes, Roundabouts....the lot. We could all meet for a Fun day!

My wife and I sometimes organise Activity Weekends for our friends....we have a great laugh.

I'm sure I told you that I would be out all day every day. I've been getting home late and tired every day - just falling asleep in front of the telly every night. Plus I've got blisters on my feet. Think you were right about my age Shelly - I feel like I'm 101.

Well Stephen, sooo much food, enough to feed all of the clan. If you lay a feast like that every day, you will have us lot coming up for a visit. Mind you, it sounds like we will all be as fat as pigs, by the time you have fattened us all up. Oooh I am a swine for me food. LOL

Jean, I am enjoying having my grandaughter here. I have been trying to re-teach her how to knit. The problem is, she is left handed, and I am right handed. It's so hard for her brain to comprehend, and I definately can't knit left handed. So she has given up for the time being.
We went up to town this morning, I wish we hadn't, it cost me money, for shoes and trousers for her. Mind you, she doesn't really need them, she just fell in love with them. Oh well, thats us nans for you.

Yvonne, you should have said you were going to Blue Water, I would have popped up to see you. Did you spend loads of money up there. The others may not know just how expensive it is there.

we have a mixture of weather here we had sun then rain then sun then winds then rain now sun and it is only 3.5.


I had my blood tests done I have to wait now for the PMR test till next Tuesday and the Warfarin till Thursday.
They were very busy in the surgery this morning 7 Doctors on duty as well.
The nurse from the hospital comes and does the INR blood test so I asked her about my injection needles which I still have after four months of doing them. I told her the bucket were sealed so they would not get out and asked her advice on what to do about them. she said dont worry Rita bring it over to me on your next blood test and I will get rid of them for you.
I dont know what my next treatment will be so have to wait to see now when the scan results come through..

I did some shopping on my way back and collected my TV times. it is Jason Donvan on WDYTYA next week.it appears his mother walked out on him when he was little according to the write up.

Looks like Peggy Mitchell in East Enders will be in a fire next week at the Vic.well that is how the TV bit reads. and she leaves next week.but perhaps that is the clif hanger. they always have those dont they,?
