Bickleigh is only known for the Marine base , because I have been there with the Marines many times.....so good happy memories !! ...LOL

Down to a more serious note I will go caravaning as I'll pay extra for it , don't do TENTS !!
Shelly I don't want to share my bed with anyone cause I like it all to myself and I want my electric blanket or I'm not coming .... LOL

Pauline you can share the bunk beds with Rita, you better go up top as I think Rita would insist on poking you up the bum during the night...!!

Shelly will organize the rest of you......... with her brood she has the experience !,

Stephen will sleep in his tent outside to keep to animals at bay .

Rita the farmer harvested 3 weeks ago.......

I am ready for this camping weekend can hardly wait, I dont need thermals I am hot enough Lol.
I will bring some insect killer poweder with me you put that down before the rubber sheeting so your be alright.
I am going to have a pallyas not a camp bed or lilo so I will need help fulling that pallyas with clean straw so I hope I have help with that. I promise to make the tea first thing in the morning if you help.

Marilyn my family would be upset to be called a soldier they were all marines on one side of the family and when asked they said they were in the navy.


I am not going to offer to knit hats remember alittle while ago my hat I knitted was too big even for an elephant to wear,

Have a good day Marilyn are you going to put washing out ? if they are harvesting around your way you might end up having to do it all again.

Oh and I'd just put those needles away. Still I have a few simple patterns to hand that I can copy for Mo and anyone else that feels able to help kit us out.
Hubby did not get called yesterday so was home quite early. Today he has to get there for 10:00. It is a big court with 6 courts normally but additionally they are using the 2 magistrates courts at the moment !!!

Tea Coffee, Grapefuit Segements, Fresh Orange, Bacon Rolls, Toast, Jam, Marmalade, Biccys. All the 'hot' stuff is on the hotplate to keep it warm.

Could a couple of you get the knitting needles out and knit some woolly hats. Please. We've got to look the part.

Nice bright colours so we can see you from a distance in case you wander off and get lost.

I went camping at Bickleigh, a wee site near there, and was sailing at Hamworthy.
And the only time I have ever been forced off a campsite because of the rain was at a place called Dawlish....Do you know that area?
I still camp in the winter in Scotland and never had to abandon the site.

Ok! I'll go easy on you.....If you are over 90 with both parents still alive you can bring a caravan and wear thermals. Fair Deal?

Off to bed ....til I probably need to get up again.

well i do hope thay have a nice trong tent as i think we have heavy rain and wind at the week end

o pauline ill get one with a nice heater in all the rooms like the ones thay have in hoilyday camp site so we should both be ok and dont serpos we will need them thermal things that marilyn is takeing for her self lol

been reading all about the wedding of the year lol
liz you should of complaind more about the loo seat should of told them it pinch the top of your leg and its not good enuth and you should of complained to the maniger and told him you are takeing it therther
what im saying is you should of pushed it all the way to get some money back or a free week end stay

i told a man in the bank today tuff
was in there with my son as his been whating for is cash card to come and has not got it yet
eny way big long massis quie and when we got to the front to speack to the lady a man was just about to say some think i was watching him as i new what he was going to do.
he said he want be a ceconed
i said and nar will i and i had to quie and take my turn so tuff on you as you will have to join the quie like every one eals
he look at the lady and she also told him to get in the quie

Did you get your Devon Family History Magazine for August ?
I was thinking of putting an advert in there as I am trying to fine some old post cards or photos of my Great Grandparents part of Devon" Farway"and "Southleigh "near" Hontion"I cannot find any that are old in the 1800's

Hello Rita,

I'm here .....just fed my flowers ,might be the last time as I feel autumn & winter will be upon us very soon.
Went to my local shops today and CHRISTMAS CARDS are jam packed on one long counter, why do they do it ??????

Its still sunny here,but leaves are falling all over the place,Pete has been and raked them all up.......until tomorrow.....then another lot ..LOL

Just changed my sheets, so a lovely fresh bed for tonight.

Off to make dinner (Cottage pie) doing a Lamb roast tomorrow as my sister & her hubby is coming and she has bought some curtain material , so has asked me to make them, suppose I ought to ..LOL

Got Pauline & Shelly helping me on my Ancestry ,gosh how they learn' t it so quick I'll never know . I'm not much good on this Ancestry lark I only liked my Genes tree because it was easy peasy.....Still think Ancestry is hard to take in and work out ....

But with Pauline's & Shelly's help ...god bless em .its coming together..LOL
