Sorry to hear that Liz is ill, I think I read somewhere that her OH was ill. She's probably worn out through looking after him.

Poor Jean, she's been through the mill lately, I hope all this treatment has done the trick and beaten the cancer. Fingers and toes crossed for the results everybody.

Are you worn out with all the extra work Linda? I couldn't look after little ones all week. I'm happy to do it for a few days but that's it, haven't got the patience.

Rita, I'm still amazed by the colour of your hair, did you ever colour it when you were young? I coloured mine from the age of about 14, my mam said I would make it go grey by using chemicals on it at such an early age. I think I was about 45 when I started to get grey hairs............got quite a few now!!

Hi Yvonne welcome back I thought you had emmigrated ? One of my daughter in Law's is working doing play ground duty she started a year ago to b e perfctly honest I did not think she would stick at it. she is like that but it seems to be working for her. ?

I went shopping this morning, in the post office they have shelves now all filled with Christmas cards,. Calendars. paper. gifts and more the shelves are also full of tins of sweets and boxes of christmas sweets including advent calendar with choc bars in. I thought all it need now is music of Christmas Carols.
I met someone who works in our Charity shop, she said our Christmas cards are due in next week. In the supermarket I was met once again with shelves full of Christmas items no Christmas puddings or Cakes yet but I bet that wont belong before they are there on view.
I arrive home put my radio and guess what was playing "I coming home for Christmas. " I felt like shouting out its only September but then perhaps they are changing Christmas from December to September if so I am in a lot of trouble I have no cards written out or presents brought.

I am looking forward to watching some TV this evening we Have "Merlin "back on I love that programe I must be going back in my choldhood. I am also looking forward to "71 Degrees North" on ITV 1

I've started back at primary school at lunchtimes, I've got Reception children aged 4 and 5 so got a load of new names to learn. One little boy was crying for his mum yesterday, luckily the new ones go home after lunch on the first week so he didn't have long to wait for mum. Bless him.

off out this evening, going to wedding reception, a friends daughter is getting married today so I'm putting my party frock and dancing shoes on lol

Just had an E-mail from LIZ.......not well at all.
probably from all the efforts of trying to get a peaceful wedding done.

I have head from Jean too, and like Mo said she has had a few days of being poorly .its expected as she has been through this treatment so many times before......bless her.

Well BB is over and it was a great finale night .....wasn't Mo & Shelly ?

weather does not look too good it has started to spit with rain this morning here off and on so will wait and see what happens. I feel sorry for people who have planned Fete today.

Watched the end of Peggy Mitchells Landlady of the old Vic well what was left of it. I thought it was a silly ending to be honest with you.

I am away for my breakfast now did my jobs first this morning for a change.

Hopefully Jean will be a little better over the weekend and through the week too.

Hubby has now finished his Jury Service. Only one case and that was small, in time. So back to work today.

I will be checking paper work, though I did do some knitting last night, I find it helps to relax me.

I have heard from Jean, thank goodness. She has not been to well again this week, but now has the weekend to rest, and get her strength up.
Next week she will get the results on her back, and the following week, hopefully the results of her chemo.
So come on girls, get those fingers, toes and everything else crossed for her.
Say a special prayer for her,and lets get her healed properly.

My p.m to Jean has been opened, but not answered. I just hope and pray
that she is o.k, and that if Jean or her daughter are looking in, they will pop in and let us know how she is.

I know now something I didnt know before I logged on here how the Vic caught fire last night. ?

Steel knitting needles Mo;s and Linda's all the knitting sent sparks towards the Vic and the wind blew them into the bedrooms and Phil full of Drugs took a deep breath and then blew out again and it acted like a
combustion and that caused the explosion which started the fire which got out of control.

Now will Stacey say good bye as she lays there dying ? and Ryan has a baby daughter Lily which will upset Jannine and upset Stacey Mum.
Or will Stacey sit up and say got you I am OK. ?

Time will tell..

Marilyn I hope your right about the bus pass it is a blessing to me I use it when I go to the Woking Community Hospital. and when I have to shop in Woking or Guildford I also dont pay a TV licence when you are 70 you get it free. I dont mind paying half price. The heating allowance is a blessing but I can cut down on things to help pay the extra money.for my winter heating.

Congratulations Mo, that's great news about your granddaughter. It's wonderful that she's been able to get pregnant after having cervical cancer. You must all be thrilled.

I can see the sparks coming off Mo's knitting needles from here. Don't go near Linda with those sparks, she's under a pile of paper - we might need the fire-brigade.

Ooooooooh, look at Marilyn showing off with her little hearts, aren't you getting clever Marilyn? Won't be long before you'll be giving Pete computer advice.

Rita, I don't think they'll take your bus pass off you, I don't know what they'll do, we'll just have to wait and see.

I think Jean must be in hospital, the last time she went missing for a few days it was because they'd kept her in. I wish that treatment was over so she could start to pull herself together a bit.

Was Shelly on yesterday? Can't see her name on this page, I'll go back and have a look.

Rita ...no way will your bus pass be taken from you. I think what they will do is from now on start giving bus passes to 65yrs & over instead of 60yrs those that already have one will be exempt , I read in the tabloid talk of this from a government minister.

Mine is almost worn out !!!!! the numbers are almost rubbed Out ..!! LOL

We had a local debate in West Country on our channel last night as well
very interesting, but cuts have to come whether we like it or not .

I'm off out today ......to see my dad, he needs his shower fixed so Pete has his tools at the ready.

Still nothing from Jean. and there is no way we can find out how she is.lets hope things are OK and she is back on here soon.

I have just had my shower and washed my hair.then I made some porraige for breakfast for a change.I usually have toast.
but I am on a special now using the food I have in the house rather than buy other so what I have will get eaten first before I buy anything else. being as it looks as if I will lose my bus pass. TV licence I will now have to pay for the over 75 free one is likely to go. and the heating allowance
stayed up to watch the Cuts debate last night.
Makes me smile there is Prince Charles telling us we must do more to keep Green because of the Climate change for the future generation. I would if I had his money. £50.000 it is costing us for his royal train he is using to go about the country apreading the Green about with him

I have little M today and the twins are at nursery until 12:15, then I pick them up for lunch and until 2:30. So a shorter day today.

Had a call from OFSTED yesterday, they are due to do their checks soon, so I have to get everything in order. So if I am missing it will be under a pile of paperwork. But I will be around

Ooooh I have just had some brilliant news girls. I am going to be a great grandma next May. This is the grandaughter who had the cervical cancer not so long ago.
That means I will be a nan in January, and a great nan in May.
Looks like I had better get the knitting needles out again Linda.

they try everything dont they.? my son had a call from his bank telling him to cut his bank card up and they would send him a new one as someone was trying to hack into his account. They did that to hiim once before well twice really but the bank stopped the the second time. He told me it runs out the end of the month anyway.. but that was good of them to let him know. I said did you give any details out he said what do you think Mother ? he is always telling me dont give bank details over the phone or on the computer if your asked by someone who phones out of the blue. So thanks for letting me know. I will tell him about that just incase. you never know?
well I am going to watch some TV now I had some tea I did a slice of cheese on toast as they would say Welsh Rarebit..
so I am going to have some fruit now.

Got the whip out today and he has painted 3 window sills as they were looking a little dull, a lick of paint and ((((( bingo )))))......looks better already.

Funny letter in the post today, addressed to Mr P Bean all the way from China..!! Well its was a scam.... a Chinese man said that he knew of a Mr Kevin Bean that died intestate in China in a terrible accident ... and this Chinese man Ho Chung was wondering if we were related ....cause he said he banked with him and has got millions to share to beneficiaries and if you e-mail me I will make sure you get your inheritance !!! I think this Email would love to have our Bank details , because that was what he really wanted and he would have cleared out account !!!!!!! he also said please can yo keep this info from anyone else ......so now you all know ..LOL
