well the first bit is over I had the warfarin done.( do you know the nurse called out three names for blood test and they did not turn up. I thought that was very bad they could have phoned and let the surgery no.)

Carol my Vampire nurse is a lovely person. I asked had my results from last week come back ? she checked and said " yes the doctor seems well pleased." the Colestrial was fine. The Blood count, the thryoixn was also fine and The PMR
The water sample was back to normal so I was pleased to hear all this. now I have to have the scan results but dont get that till 3.20 when my appointment is at St Lukes Cancer hospital.in Guildford.
The Nurse at the Desk t called out to me " how on earth did you manage to walk out of here last week with all that blood taken" I said I am getting use to it now. I will go home have a cup of tea or coffee and sit down for a little while.people in the surgery all laughed. I think they are all getting use to me now.

It's been dark and wet here all morning but it seems to be getting brighter, well, the rain's stopped. My God, I think that's the sun coming out! Wonder if I dare put the washing on the line before I go out.

Hope it's good news today Rita, I'll be thinking of you.

I'm still thinking of Jean as well, she must be devastated.

The shops round here don't have any Christmas decorations up yet but I saw someone putting lights around their house last week.

Shelly, I don't like tinned tomatoes so I can't try your concoction.

Susan I am so sad to hear the news about our Jean. she must be feeling really down at this moment God Bless.her. Please give her my love.thank you for letting us know.

Shelly I will try that I think I must have not had enough cold water when I did mine and it was all thick lumpy no I didnt use it it was like wallpaper paste Ug.
funny thing was after I posted about the Gravy I scrolled through and found one of Marilyn threads on Oxo. wasnt that starnge.?

I only used Baby Wool Marilyn when ever I knitted for the babies I didnt use anything else until they were about four years old..

I was disappointed in last nights WDYTYA only because they only did his Grandfather and I would have liked to have seen his Grandfather parents.so he only went one step up his tree.otherwise it was a moving story and must have come as a shock to him.

I logged on so I could wish my son Michael a Happy Birthday he is 56 today but he is on call (Paramedic. )

see you later.

Love

Oh no, that's awful news about Jean, poor soul - she's been through such a lot and then to be told it's actually worse. I don't know what to say, I feel so sad for her.

Jean pet, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank you Susan for letting us know, it must be very hard for you.

Rita, good luck for tomorrow, we'll all be thinking of you. We need some good news, hope you come back with some.

Oh my word Linda, his grandfather was playing Russian Roulette.
How upsetting that must have been for him to find that out. Up till that point all the news was good for him, about his grandfathers bravery etc.

Good luck for tommorrow Rita, I will be thinking of you love.

I enjoyed(if that is the right word) tonight's WDYTYA. A few surprises there eh? Interesting at the begining as hubby's uncle was a despatch rider in WW11 too.

Need to think that one through as it was quite a shocking one really.

Oh Susan.

I'm so sorry......poor Jean.

What can I say to such a lovely lady, only to keep her spirits up and tell her we are all thinking of her and saying our prayers ....

Tell her to come on only when she feels like it rather than make it a duty we all understand...

Lots of hug's for her ......xxxxx

Hello. I do hope I have the right thread for this message.
I'm Susan, Jean's daughter.
The news from Christies today wasn't good, the cancer
in Mum's back is still avtive and has grown bigger, she
isn't feeling too well at the moment so has gone to bed.
She said she will come on tomorrow and speak to you all.
Am going to do the birthday thread now.

Mum sends love to you all.
Susan.
