Pauline, I am not sure how they do the weight of the baby. All I know is, they wanted to do the internal scan, to check that mum was well inside, as well as outside. So I beat a hasty retreat out of the room. I did not fancy watching that, besides it is rather a personal thing isn't it. And when they came out they said how much baby weighed then. The wonderful thing was, that she appeared to be waving to us. Even the guy doing the scan said about it. I know I am biased but she did look wonderful, I can't wait for her to be born, for my cuddles.

Wow that's brilliant Mo, how on earth do they know what the baby weighs?
That was really nice of the man to give them a free 3D scan, is it much different to the ordinary scan?
Are you sure you can dance in stilettos? It might be better to change into your pumps before you start to dance. I love the outfit though, sounds great - you might even look better than Marilyn with her lime green...........don't tell her I said that.
Don't know what I'm wearing yet, I'll have to have a rake around.

Good afternoon everyone, from a dry bright sunny day, here in Kent. I went for the baby scan, with my son and his fiance today. Guess what, another baby girl. That makes it 9 grandaughters, and 3 grandsons. It's so wonderful, what you can see on the scans. My son asked if they did Three D scans, and was told not on the NHS, only private. They had paid for two scan pictures. The man doing the scan, suddenly said, this is what the baby looks like in Three D, oh my was S excited to see her baby like that, the the man gave her the scan free of charge. She weighs 1 pound 2 ounces. Now how clever is all this technology. Every thing was fine, so she does not need another scan now at all.
It's nice to hear from Our Jean as well. Now don't go over doing it out in the garden Jean. You are supposed to be resting, you naughty girl. But it will keep your mind occupied won't it, and the garden will look lovely next spring.
Ooops Rita, I forgot about Chubby Checker. I hope Stephen chooses the right colour Jacket to go with those green socks. Otherwise with his blue suede shoes, the colours will clash. I have decided to wear my black full circle skirt, the sequins on the skirt are shaped into musical notes, and I will also wear my black and red can can petticoat, with my patent stilletto shoes. My top is also red, so that the whole outfit matches. I will have to bring my little black pumps and socks, just in case my feet start to hurt from all the dancing.
What are you wearing Pauline, we don't want you clashing colours with Marilyn and Shelly. Linda, don't over do it with the children, you need all the energy you can muster for our night out with Stephen. Liz, you will have to try and get some rest, before our big night out. We don't want you falling asleep at the side of the hall. Now where has Yvonne got to, she has not said if she is coming out with us all.

No one on here ? so I must be the only one with nothing too do. ?
I only went across to the chemist this morning to get my medication I had a bag the size of a handbag full.
I went into the charity shop as I was there I always look for books. found racks of Christmas Cards on display. Did not find any books so came home.
I cooked myself fish and chips for dinner to day and had a small piece of apple pie. then a cup of tea and a cat nap. Lol
so I am going to have a read and MIGHT logg on later. to see if anyone is around.

Hi Friends .
Mo you left one of my favourite off your list CHUBBY CHECKER.
Liz I use to feed Hedgehogs as well mine liked milk and bread soaked in milk. when I moved from Norfolk I wondered if they were still about. ? I had also a red Squirrel come to see me each year. I persume it was the s ame one. he use to run along the back fench and then up one of the apple trees. my neighbours use to say I saw the squirrel today Rita it ran along your fence. I have never seen a red one lose since then. Jean glad to see you are up and about. I hope you have a lovely weekend. dont over do things though just do what you want and to hell with the rest. Marilyn Did you get any replies from that car dealer when you went there with Pete and they didnt bother with you ? I was at Torguay last year. I wondered if they still have that Bloon on the front ready for people to go up in.~? they did not do much business when I was there.
Linda See your still busy .I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the concert last night..
Stephen I see you are determind to wear Green Socks..are you going Green on us girls ? I wonder what colour your suit will be and will the lapels be rolled and not pressed down my husband was so particular about his lapel on his suit jacket I had to roll them before I pressed the jacket. becareful of the Blue swede shoes if you get them trod on too much your need a swede brush to clean them.better remember to take one with you. Pauline and Yvonne where are you this morning.

Glad you had a good night Linda. I'm pleased you said you couldn't look after the twins all the time - it makes me feel better that you aren't a super woman.........LOL
Liz is staying up even later than normal, must be the dark mornings.
See Shelly, you do fit in, Stephen has made you his dance partner. Mind you, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing!
Erm, waiters!! I like the tall blonde Nordic type of man.........I'm married to one. Well, he's not so blonde now and it was a long time ago that his ancestors came over here.

Morning All Boy Stephen and Liz are like ships that pass in the night.
The concert last night was great. Older men who played and sung their hearts out. Shame there was such a small audience in the theatre. Their Queen tribute was amazing and had everyone joining in.
Oh well my holiday cover finishes today. The twins are at nursery, I'll pick them up to have lunch here then Mum will collect them at 2:30. It's been fun but I couldn't do it full time.
Nice bright morning so I guess it's time for some more washing. Hubby went to work at 5;00 he'll be home around 3:30.
Catch you later
Linda :o) XxX

Morning Stephen, I beat you to it, have been up all night and outside several times to see if my hedgehog which has returned from last year, (or might be a new one, hedgehogs all look the same to me lol) had eaten what I put out. It's just starting to get light here in Norwich but the grass is very wet and it's a bit fresh out there. The other night the hedgehog came and ate some bread and peanuts and then I spotted a little mouse taking a nut and dashing off with it, had this last year with four hedgehogs, all different sizes and then a mouse taking nuts while the hedgehog was at the feeding dish. Am hoping more hedgehogs come as the weather gets colder, I like to try and build them up to last the winter and was lucky enough to get two big bags of peanuts, the 4 lb bags when our local supermarket closed down in July. We will have a nice new Morrisons opening on Monday - my o.h. will be pleased as he likes to go each day and pick up things for his pack up for work. He couldn't get the hang of buying several days worth at once, so I had to remember to keep the fridge well stocked and the bread bin full of rolls and such.
Night all I am off to bed lol take care Lizxxx

(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?
Early Cuppa anyone?
I've already been outside....lovely bright stars still shining but fading a bit as dawn arrives. Magic. I love the winter sky at night when it's clear. The stars seem to go on forever. Surely we can't be the only ones in this vast Universe? Shelly...you CAN dance...if I can shuffle around on the floor then I'm sure you can. You and I should get together and practice a bit. We will just need to watch our expert Twisters and Jivers and follow what they do. Remember Shelly....I'm going to dress as a Teddy Boy...you will need to dress as a Teddy Girl. You will also need to have bright green socks to match mine. What a sight we'll be London won't know what's hit them!
Keep Jivin.
Have a good day ya all!
Stephen
PS Nearly forgot...what Nationality of handsome waiters do you like? No one has mentioned them yet.

OK now for a memory test!
What Rock n Roll groups or singers do you remember?
My GRAN (lol) told me about Bill Hayley and the Comets and also Little Richard.
Any others?
We are getting a few suggestions for location and what you would like for dinner. We can short list them nearer the time.
I agree to dance with each of you as long as you promise not to throw me over your backs or slide me along the floor. I don't want to damage my Teddy Boy suit or Blue Suede Shoes. Ooops. Nearly forgot....don't want to upset my hairstyle or spread the Brylcream all over the place. The hair will be sleaked back into a DA style.....Anyone remember that?
Keep on Dancin Stephen

Oh what a cheeky madam Marilyn, I don't need new glasses. Tell her of will you Rita, she's picking on me, sob sob. Doing the twist can be a bit of a problem though, the arthritus in the spine is a right beggar of a nuisance. It's somebody's birthday on Monday, now I wonder who's it is.
