Hi everybody, got all my work done this morning so I can leave early - I've got a long way to go to meet up with the rest of you. I won't mind the journey though because I'll be traveling in comfort and style. Hmm, maybe I should go by plane, I'll be able to get there a lot quicker. I can hop on a plane at Newcastle and Wee Dick could hop on one at Glasgow or Edinburgh. The Limo could pick us up as we get off the plane.

Shelly I saved you one of those lovely cakes - but you're not getting it now for calling me a greedy cow, you can stick to your tinned tomatoes with oxo cubes.

Linda and Shelly haven't said what they'll be wearing yet, come on, we want to know - so we don't clash. Is Yvonne going?

Mo's in red and black, Rita's in black (even her underwear), Marilyn's in lime green and white (are you sure about that orange lippy Marilyn?) I'm in yellow and black. Don't think Jean's well enough to go yet.

Oops, nearly forgot to say.........Stephen's wearing blue suede shoes, lime green socks and Teddy Boy suit. He didn't say what colour the suit was but I think it'll have a velvet collar. Wonder if he's still got enough hair for a DA.

My son flew in from NY this morning on a BA flight just a small plane carrying 36 passengers, so I have asked him to call at Plymouth airport back to London, that's me sorted and fetched !! I'm up here already ...LOL

The weather here is lovely this morning bright and sunny and there is no wind the trees are very still.
I had my shower a little while ago and have made sure I have my channel number 5 on and some to take with me.

The Public Relations chap from the Ritz has been on the phone asking if we wished to enter via the rear of the hotel...so that we miss the usual Press photographers at the front of house.
NO WAY!
I told him we would be coming in the front door and they can take all the photos they want. We could even sell the story to one of the BIG tabloids.....like say The News of The World or better still The Sunday Times.
What about the glossy mags? Any suggestions for one or two of those?

Shelly....don't tell the others we have been meeting and having lots of practice this week. We can show them a few good moves tonight.

I am going to dress in black. so I wont clash with any of you. I sorted out a black circular skirt. and black top with a white lace collar. I have black lace under-wear on. made sure the elastic was in the knicker legs . I will wear my diamont crown when we dine at the Ritz.. I have to find the key to the safe first.

Stephen make sure you piack all the girls up your have to work out a route to do that. I dont fancy going all the way down to Devon to pick Marilyn up.
bUT i SUPPOSE WE WILL HAVE TOO. ? WHAT A SHAME SHE COULD HAVE COME TO ONE OF US ..

Hi Everyone....I'm back had a great day in Torquay.

Had a delicious Pasty with a cuppa tea for lunch ...

As Stephen wants to know what I am wearing , this is it ...

Lime green blouse with my white & green hooped skirt , black patent belt, white ankle socks with a frill on the edge.
Blank pumps......scarf around my neck ,pony tail ,my hair is not as long as Pauline' s so I might sulk a bit !! LOL
Cardie (white) in case it gets chilly, very pale orange lippy as that sets the Lime green off nicely.
Stephen are we to take any money ? after all you did say your treating us.

I might take some money for fags......I do like a puff in between jives.

I've changed my mind about waiting to see what everyone else is wearing, I've decided what I'm wearing.

I don't really do dresses, so I'm wearing skin-tight black pedal pushers (stretchy ones) and one of those shirt-style fitted blouses that tie at the front with 2 long bits. Erm, a bright yellow one.........and yellow patent-leather mules with a black bow on them. Oh, and a bright yellow scarf tied round my ponytail.

Just hope I don't fall off the mules.

Rita, I think I'll wait to see what everyone else is wearing before I decide what to wear - don't want to have the same colour as anyone else.

Oh, I forgot to say - we won loads of prizes today at the charity event......well, my son won loads of prizes. He's very lucky, he won 5 prizes. I only gave him a fiver and he won a prize with every ticket, I bought 30 quid's worth of tickets and got nothing. Mind you, all of the things he won were things for me or the garden.

I bought a plant and it had a big slug on it, the man said I didn't need to pay extra for it though...........LOL

I bought some beautiful homemade cakes as well (one of my friends made them). That's what I've been stuffing my face with.

Mo that is great news. I saw three of my Granddaughters scans none of the others I have 5 Granddaughters and 6 Grandsons. I did not realise I had five of one set and 6 of the others. till you mentioned yours I had for gotten they have been around a long time.
you better get those needles clicking again at least you know what colour wools you can use.
Your a cheeky devil as well going to show me up in your clothes. I will have to see what I can find ?I am not having you out-do me.

LOL Pauline, it was bad enough when they put the camera up there. The baby is a real poser,and was smiling. Mum wasn't very happy though, it was very uncomfortable.
And as for the scales, baby started to sing LOL

Edit, she was a state wasn't she. You have got a loooong way to go to get to that state babe.
