You girls are great with your drawings I dont know how you do it I wish I had that skill.
I am drawing a card out for my dear son in Law of a witches and a broom stick I am going to send it too him. to give him a laugh he had his last Chemo today (I hope ) he is not at all well.he was worried about to-day as well wondered how he was going to get to the hospital as he is so weak..
So I thought I would try and draw a card and send it too him.

one of my Grandsons was born 29 of October in 1981, I told him he must be part of the witches group. he was born at midnight so I never know if it is 29th or 30th so I just send it on 29th October,

My son in Law use to have a laugh with me I use to say I packed my broom stick so let me know where we are heading I will fly on that rather than walk..
He use to say I brought some polish dont want you flying around on a dirty broom stick. we still have a laugh at that.
I suppose it makes sence to go on Halloween I can put my witches cloak and hat on and scare the daylights out of him.

By the way did you see that about Halal meat being sold at resturants and schools even at Ascort races and Wembley and they dont tell people what they are eating.when someone was asked at Ascost why it was not mention on the menu he said we keep our menu simple so they dont bother to tell people their chickens are Hala ones..
I will ask when i go out to eat in future. I think that is disgusting.

when I was a young girl we use to see loads of red squirrels then they vanished. The Red one I had in Norfolk was the only one I had seen there and anywhere else for years.
when I was a broad my sister and I was on a tour and we were in a caoch which stopped at a winery and was told to look up toward the roof of the houses nearby and we saw Storkes nests I tried to take photos of it but they didnt come out. I walked about the winery for a while got fed up and went outside and sat on the wall and looked up and saw a Stork flying over head. I was so surprised I could not beleive my eyes, I was too gob smacked to take a photo of it.
I go to Regents Park a lot when I stay at Hampstead at my sisters and you should see the Herons they have there. the trees on the small Isle is full of the Herons nesting in the trees. There are always loads of visitors about taking photos of them as well as the Lake , which has lots of coots and Ducks. Mallards and Canadian Geese.
I have a lovely photo of one Heron standing near me and he is standing there on one leg.looking over the lake.. as if he was guarding it.. I used it as a wallpaper background on my computer for ages,.

I have one of "Portland Bill " as background at the moment of the Light house.I always do that to remind me of my holidays.

Rita, don't wait till Hogmanay, Halloween is coming up soon. We friendly witches can fly up there and scare the pants of him. You know we like our
fright night on October the 31st.
And boy will Stephen be frightened when he see's us lot descend outside his house.
I think we will have to inform his wife though, we don't want to scare the life out of her as well.
Of course, our birthday girl, her ladyship of the manor, Marilyn, will probably go up there by light aircraft, her broomstick will be out of action, she will tell us. LOL
I hope Jean is getting on alright today. I think it's today she gets her results.

I hope he didn't stretch your leg when he pulled it Rita, can't have you hobbling about with one leg longer than the other.

I had thought about stephen and his piecost bird I had never heard of that then it came to me he was pulling my leg( that hurt ) and he was trying it on what did the Pie Cost so I added to my thread depended on what it was whether it was Beef or Chicken. because he was having one of these little wits then I read his reply so I deleted that off my thread,.

I think as it is getting near Hogmony I will get on my broom stick and fly over his house and drop the pies down his chimney and smoke him out..

Rita, we've got loads of grey squirrels in the garden as well, we don't have any red ones though. The herons eat the frogs out of the ponds, well - they fly off with them in their beaks, so I think they eat them. I'm glad you asked Stephen what a Piecost was, he would have caught me with that one as well.

Nice to see Jean feeling well enough to post, good luck for your results Jean.

I thought nobody would notice they'd lost their scarfs - I was just going to add them to my collection. I didn't have those colours - red with white spots and green with white spots. Suppose I'd better stick them in the post with the rest of the lost property now.
