The Union Flag is ONLY called the Union 'Jack' when it is flown from the 'Jack' Staff on the front of a British ship.

My voice is very distinctive and I have 'voiced over' a number of Scottish productions for different things.

A number of people say it is very much like Sean Connerys, I don't think so myself, but then I suppose hearing ourself is like looking at ourself on film...we don't really recognise ourself at all.

Folk that haven't seen me for many years recognise my voice instantly.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing......I wonder.

NO Stephen Jean cannot crack the whip, bless her,she's still getting her health back. And so is our Rita, they can be our refreshment girls. And they can bring us nice cool towels to cool us down in the heat.

The flowers sound lovely Madeleine, but will they be o.k in the heat. All the colours of the Union Jack. Thats if Stephen has no objections to the U.J.

Marilyn suggested I sort the flowers before she left for her jolly holidays.

I think we should try and combine the GB theme, and give a nod at the same time to our Host Country.

Can I suggest Lotus flowers, Lilies and Musk Roses. These can be in various shades of red, white and blue, while being indigenous to India.

Let me know if you want me to order them in, cos it will take a few days, and I will need to go and collect them from New Covent Garden.
