Those horse drawn hearses do look regal Rita don't they? Especially if the horses are black with big black plumes.

I am writing this seperate to the other one. I did the laundry and went to Waitrose to get some bits of shopping. as I got to the gate that leads into the Court I saw a large lorry and they were taking one of those glass funeral carts . I watched them put bits together then the went and brought two beautiful dark horses and attached them to the cart the horses had big plumes on there heads they looked so regal. I felt like crying. I dont know where the funeral was but it must have been local.
you use to see them alot when I was a young girl; but not so much now.

LOL Rita, must have been a nightmare, you could always tie a long piece of rope to everyone's wrist and just pull them back when it was time for their event.

Pauline I dont think so. I had enough of organizing with my Scout group took two coach loads of Scouts and Parents to France for a long weekend. it was a nightmare. you always get people who wander off when you ask them not too. or ask them to tell you where they intend going ? when the coaches stop for a break.and you tell tham what time they must be back to the coach because your on a time-table.. you get two who are missing and you wait . two go out to look for them . that means four are mssing. two more go out and the four missing come back the other two are still still missing you are late by an hour getting to where your suppose to be.
Mind you the whole trip was very good they all enjoyed it and asked me to set another one up in a couple of months time which I did.

Morning all. It's horrible here, dark and wet.
Good luck Jean, hope it's not too bad for you, we're all thinking of you.
You training again Shelly? You must have the floor routine perfect by now. Don't overdo it though, can't have any more injuries.
Rita, I've only been to Edinburgh a couple of times, I liked it but I haven't been for years.
Maddie, you told them it was baking powder? And they believed you? You must have an innocent face to be able to get away with that.
Thanks for the breakfast Stephen, I ate everything but the prunes........don't like them.
That he/she is the Russian Shot Putter. Now you know what competition you've got.
Mo tried to drive home in the dodgem car last night, she didn't have far to go, so I just left her to it.

Shelly your up then. ? I bet you felt tired after yesterdays workout.
I could work out harder when I was younger . I have to stop and
sit down and think what I should do next,
a fuzzy brain needs oiling.
just sorted what I am having for dinner today I like to get everything
planned before hand. I use to drive the family mad at times every bill or
letters that needed to be kept had to be filed. they knew when they
wanted a receipt or letter I could always fine it right away.
I suppose that came with my working in an office.
so I plan what needs to be done what food I am having that day
It is like an Army rota.

Morning all
I expect you need the extra time in bed after all that training yesterday you need to rub your limbs with "white oil" they use to call it "Horse Oils " in the past. It is certainly looking gloomy outside the sky has vanished it is just a Grey Day Best of luck Jean for your treatment hope it does not take it all out of you. a big Hug.
Stephen we use to spend New Year at my mother in Law in Bervie and it was something not to miss. it may be a small place but they new how to celebrate.. Christmas has always been the family coming to me and we really had a house full. even in Norfolk we had a Three Bedroom Bungalow and it was always packed till I lost my husband then the family use to come and bring me down south for a couple of weeks. Stephen I have been to Edinburgh many times and passed through I use to say these cobbled stones dont get any easier to ride over or walk on.

Don't know if Euan and his helicopter ever found Marilyn in St.Ives. Still waiting on a report.
Rita has done well with the banner.
Bobby and Tom had a great time and are looking forward to Delhi. They think we are all mad. That should make them feel at home then !!!!!!!!
My body still aches from that pummelling from the he/she person that gave me the massage. No wonder they put a blindfold on me.
Right better get kitted up and head of for some training.
Have a good day ya all! Catch up later.

Rita,
Those songs were the all time favourites at many a party.
After a couple of drams the self consciousness would go and the songs would start.
New Year in Scotland is not what it used to be. Most folk watch the telly and then go to bed after midnight.
My wife and I go to Edinburgh and join the fun there.
Looks like the others have disappeared. Must be all the training.
I'm watching Billy Connelly a Scot in the Arctic, brings back memories of my Survival Training. Building Igloos and digging Snow Holes. Great fun when your young and fit. I still camp in the winter...there are no midgies then.

Surely not Rita.
Would they do that?
I certainly thought they were really rough hands.
The feet felt huge....like big policemens feet.
I'll fix them out at the training in Delhi.

Madeleine,
They are most probably coming for Shelly, that young man looked as if he had been attacked by someone in a frenzy.
Try looking in the bar....we are all having a wind down relaxing drink.
Tom and Bobby were looking for you earlier.
