I'm feeling better......back & legs have eased a bit more.

I'm catching up on these games a bit now......as I am way behind, but not worried about having to many medals cause I cant display them all,

Mo, there was a stewards enquiry, they were saying that because you started a few minutes before me and I finished a few minutes after you ............we both had exactly the same time. It was a dead heat - so we both get gold..........how unusual is that?

Well done Maddie and Shelly, you deserved the gold. I was getting a bit worried about those dirty marks on the Taj Mahal though - thank goodness it wasn't any of you who did it. I didn't fancy going up there with a bucket of hot soapy water and helping to wash it off.

What happened to the men on our team, where did they go? Bet that Marilyn has them waiting on her hand and foot.

Not me and Shelly that for sure. We are good girls. We climbed to the top of the Taj Mahal [inside] and we shimmied down the outside. We were shrewd and took TWO pairs of shoes with us. One for dirty, one for clean. Our paths down were spotless. We walked, we jumped and we bounced down the outside. And yes, you guessed it, we were a photo finish again. So put us down for another 2 GOLDS.

Hope you're feeling better Marilyn, and everyone else is well and enjoying their fish and chips. I can smell the vinegar. How lovely. The grub here is pretty samey. Curry, curry and yes, more curry.

Our porridge supplies have dwindled to nothing. I think those Scottish laddies have scoffed the lot. They have been very quiet of late, probably stuffing their faces. Porridge, haggis, tatties and neeps.

Going out now to see what I can scrounge to eat. I am Starving. I cannot keep eating this hot stuff. I will get Dehli Belly if I keep eating this. I could go a bundle on a portion of chips right now.

Well Pauline, it's now down to us two, the others have given up. I am getting exhausted,I, I ,I ,can't keep this up for much longer, if I give up and take silver, can you keep going a little longer and get the gold for us,we both can't have the gold, so I am going to give up now. I don't know what we're going to do about the horse if Yvonne doesn't turn up. We can't hide him for long.

Mo, I rushed back from the coach trip and came straight here, had to leave the others behind because of the carry on with the police.

Nothing to do with me, I was only standing clapping and cheering.

I've whittled away 4 inches off my waist so far with this hula hoop contest. Not long to go now though, only 5 people left in it.

Pauline hurry up, this Hula hoop comp is very keenly followed. There are twenty contestants,and I have been doing it for two hours now. My hips are starting to hurt,and I need a loo break soon. Don't want to end up with a puddle at my feet.
I decided I wouldn't go on the coach trip today,as I needed my rest, to be ready for this comp.
I hope the abseiling went well. I did hear that the police were called,and someone was arrested, for leaving dirty great marks on a certain buildings walls. Now I wonder who the guilty person was.

Sorry that you have had to drop out Marilyn. A back injury like that,can cause problems in the future,and we need you for the Olympics,so take it easy love.

Has anyone heard from Jean this week. Wasn't it this week she was getting the results, about the breast cancer. Oh I do hope she is o.k.

shrivel up to much, in this damp weather.

Yvonnes horse,has been causing problems. He's jumped the fences round his stables so many times, that they have threatened to dispose of him, Mo says quietly, ( into a curry ), shhhh don't tell Yvonne. I have had stand up arguements with them over it,and saved hime for the time being.
I do hope she turns up and rescues him soon.

you are a poor thing Marilyn have you got the sweats with it ? or shivers if so it could be your flu injection. that was how I was once when I had the flu injection my legs ached and I was shivering with a headache.

I am still aching all down the back of my legs now, its just painful to walk, I feel like an old woman all that training has gone out the window..

I think it must be sciatica .......I'll go to the doctors on Monday if I still have It.
I have been watching you all on telly ......and yes you are a clever lot of ego's ..LOL

I have also got my 13yr grandson with me laying in the spare bedroom ,he's feeling fatigue and got a temperature .....so Pete has to look after both of us.
He's just made some porridge for grandson and its all lumpy , see some men don't have a clue .....probably did it with cold milk ...LOL

Hi Maddie and Linda being as you are the first one up this morning.

I must admit this weather is not the get up and go type I feel like pulling the duvrt over my head and staying there. it is very warm I must say that.

I had conkers given me. a friend went and collected a bag full , a few weeks ago.. they have shriveled a little wrinkled like me.
the rooms have them in the corners and when I go to vacume I jump thinking it is a small mouse.

Up later today hubby left at 5:00, didn't feel like getting up then. Do have a wash on now. Ironing waiting to be done too. Quick vacuum before the family all come to dinner tonight. Friend coming for tea and a chat this afternoon.

Hope the fishing goes well today Maybe I can practice casting from the top of the Taj Mahal, before we all absail?

Got me ball of wool for my run again this morning. It is so hot and steamy here. OH says he cannot see the BT Tower this morning there is a fog hanging over north London. He says the air feels damp this morning, so Autumn is deffo on its way.

They are bringing a coach this morning to take me [and others] to the Taj Mahal. We are abseiling down that. Wow. Hope we all have clean shoes, or this famous monument will be covered in footprints. lol

Speak to you all again later, gotta run, then get glammed up for the coach ride, cannot let the side down.

Linda you have had a good day then by all accounts. it is strange how when one thing goes in the home you usually get two or three..
I honestly thought they said Jelly Belly I must have been thinking of Jelly babies Lol. anyway the upset tummy has affected quiet a lot of the swimmers.to-day.

I dont think conkers work with spiders. I have two conkers in the sitting-room and a small spider came running out from under the small tableI push the small foot stool out of the way as I had bare feet on the carpet and in doing so squoshed the poor little spider. he must have been looking for his mum.
