Shelly ...LOL

Nothing posh about me ....
I had a little silver KA and loved it to bits.......now got a silver Aygo but dont like it as much as my little KA.

Dont forget I got a bus pass too ...LOL

I'm not that good at car manufacturers as cars don't bother me that much, It would not bother me if I had an old bagger....as long as it got me from A to B.

I reckon Pauline has a lovely big car because she has to have a big one for Brent ..........so not a postman pat one ..LOL

Think Rita probably had a Jag....or Mercedes .

Mo ....a Ford....... and I bet its spotless !!

Maddie a mini cause she lives in London and there aint no room for a big car to park...

Shelly you must have a type of car that gets looked after by hubby and it must be a BIG one for your brood......and I think a black one.

Yvonne got a big one as well because her hubby is very tall.

Stephen got an old banger as it konks out all the time so unreliable.

Linda......not sure..LOL could be a big fancy or could be a Ford of some sort.

Now lets all have the real truth........

I haven't got a wheelchair access car if that's what you mean. At a push, I can get son's wheelchair in my car but we usually use hubby's car to transport son around.

Edit: It's not green either............LOL

Oh heck. I typed a great big post, and then deleted it.

Morning All. Just back from my run with the ball of wool. Pleased to see you back Stephen. All you rugged men getting lost and breaking down, is there no justice in the world.

Orienteering and Rifle Shooting for me today. Should be a breeze. Have had a few lessons from some guy called Dead Eyed Dick. He has given me a few pointers.

Hope everyone else is well this morning.

Good old Boris, have seen him a few times. Dont be misled by his bluster, he is razor sharp. Hope he can travel with us on our bus, he is very charming.

Apparently it is very grey in London. David Copperfield has arrived and made the BT Tower disappear, AGAIN.

See you all later.

Stephen2009 Report 9 Oct 2010 07:50

Morning All,

I went up north for a 'quick' trip.
Bl***y car broke down
A wee place called, Achiltibuie, population about 40 folk and 5,000 sheep.
It's on the West Coast and looks out to the Summer Isles.
Had to wait on the car part arriving.

STRESS.

Then I listened to the soft Gaelic language and began to relax.
All was not that bad.
What the ''H'' did it matter if I lost a day or two.

A grand song came to mind........

'Come by the hills where life and fancy is free,
Where the peaks reach the sky and the lochs reach the sea,
Where the rivers run clear and the bracken is gold in the sun,
And the cares of tomorrow must wait till this day is done'

The place is beautiful and the people are lovely, gentle and kind.

All was not lost.

I was where my heart feels most at peace.
In the moutains and next to the sea.

Right.......... down to the business in hand.

Whats next on my Competition list?

Not forgetting, Tom, Andy and Bobby. They were with me in the car and have returned for the final showdown.

Word has it that Boris is providing a Civic Reception in the Guildhall when we return.
Open top bus tour of London Town for us.
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.

Got a great big huge fish
I thought it looked like a goldfish, but somebody was muttering something about prize Koi carp. Well I unhooked him had him weighed and then set him free again like all good fishermen do
Didn't fancy him with chips so he lives to fight another day

Think it was the biggest catch of today and certainly gave a good fight

Another gold for team GB

Won't be around in the morning, practicing bandaging, see who I can make look like a mummy eh?

Linda :o) Xxx Nite Nite

MotownGal Report 8 Oct 2010 22:28

I heard about the blocked toilets. Something to do with someone called Johnny. He had a billet-doux from someone in Paris. pmsl

Great plumbing eh.

Orienteering tomorrow Pauline. I have my map and my compass. This is the southern hemisphere so will need to make some adjustments on my compass points.

I didnt realise I was on the Rifle Shooting. I am a crack shot with a Air Rifle. If I win [which of course I should] just call me Annie Oakley from now on. lol

Has anyone found Stephen yet. He and his kilt are missing. His mates are nowhere to be seen either. I do hope that there will not be unpleasantness. If we hear singing of Over The Sea to Skye, then we will head in that direction, and hopefully find them, cuddling their sporrans.
Nothing like a mildy racist stereotype to set the pulses racing.

Sweet dreams everyone. Keep well.

Big day again tomorrow for me and Shelly. We will keep the flag flying for the team. Well done in the Hula contest Pauline. Comes of having snake-hips I suppose.

Nighty nite.

Hello Shelly

Never have any doubts at all that we are the NUMBER ONE TEAM FOR GB.

We are like poetry in motion.

Us LONDON girls should stick together.
