Hello everyone, hope you have all recovered from the games, and have been able to have some relaxing time.
Rita, I do hope yesterday wasn't too sad for you.
I dont feel too bad today, maybe my body is getting used to the treatments now. have tried to turn my mattress over on my bed, but it is too heavy for me, so will wait for my daughter to arrive, she will help me. I used to do it with no problems........... the joys of getting old I suppose. LOL.
Hope you all have a good weekend.
Take care.
Jean xx

Maddie dont buy anything too light or anything with heels to visit the Queen otherwise you will find youself come under Health and Safety Lol

It is not all plush red carperts the carpert are well worn. and the throne room well forget it.?

I have visited places when I have been on holiday much better than our Buckingham Palce.

you could use the hide away lifts the Queen and Royal family use instead of the stairs ? they seem to have one in each room.

I must remember to tell Marilyn as she likes high heels..
to use the lfits instead.

Morning All. Hope you are all well.

I am not going to sons' after all. I am off to Fonthill Road. It is the centre of the London Rag Trade. There is a large Cypriot community there, all of whom work in the dress factories. The works are upstairs, and the shops on street level. Beautiful dresses at really cheap prices. Do need to wear something nice to meet the Queen on Monday. I may even look for a nice pair of silver shoes, tiny clutch bag, and maybe a tararara. Yes I know it is tiara, but its what we call it at home.

There is a Pound shop near us, there have HIDEOUS masks, so may buy a couple for us to answer the door in when the little pests come aknocking at Halloween.

If that dont frighten the life out of the little beggers, nothing will. lol

Sees ya all later.

If you dont hear from me on here it is because my computer is playing up or the site GR. becuase yesterday it crashed. this morning it has made my messages vanish.
First thank you Pauline for your kind words of my Husbands memory thread.
Maddie there are lots of people with a virus around here, in London three of my grandchildren have gone down with it.
In surrey two of my Grandchildren have it. so it iscirculating..
Stephen I am pleased you enjoyed the visit to the Galliery. I like Lowry myself. I never get tired of looking at his paintings.
I dont like Dutch Artists as there work always seem to dark. The Queen likes them as Buckingham Palace has lots of painting of Dutch arrtist hanging on her walls.
Marilyn I am pleased things seem to be better for you.
Mo it is time to get those sweeties out ready for the children who knock on the door asking trick or treat. ?
I wonder if Shelly will do her rounds.

Morning all.

Thanks for the cuppa Stephen, what were you doing creeping around in the middle of the night? Luckily you didn't wake any of us, we need our beauty sleep........unfortunately mine didn't work, maybe I should have slept longer.

Don't work too hard at your niece's house, you need to look good for Monday.

Where are the rest of you? Come on, get up!!

Do we need all those cups this morning?

It seems like everyone is disappearing out somewhere or other.

Cars packed with the tools etc. Ready to head off and get an early start. Morning is my best time of the day.

Don't forget.......... it's Buck House on Monday.

Have a good day ya all !

I shall be opening a bottle of plonk soon, and sitting staring at the tv. Already in the my dressing gown. lol

How do I cope with this social whirl.

Hi Marilyn, are you going somewhere nice tonight?

Rita, I've only just seen your memory, sorry I'm late in adding to it. Like Mo said - I hope your family have been in touch with you today to help keep your spirits up.

Hope Jean's not feeling too ill today.

Hi Everyone ....

Just reading back on a few things........gosh took me forever.

Mo, I live with cobwebs.......part of living in a Barn, but the spiders are daddy long legs mainly ,funny I don't mind them as they stay still and don't frighten me as much as those BIG horrible Black or brown ones that wear boots !! LOL

Just to let you know I don't need makeovers .......just plastic surgery ...LOL

Yes Linda will have to find me as I live, just normal..... well maybe light a few candles to soften up the place a bit.... and more smelly's !!

Hi Stephen.......a Monet Art Exhibition ...well well well, how the other half live.

Just going out , so thought I'd let you know I'm still around....out in the morning first thing so be back in the afternoon.

Evening all.
Marilyn,I am pleased that things are now getting sorted. I hope you are both feeling better now.

Linda have a ,lovely break away. I hope FIL behaves himself.LOL Bless him.

Maddie, pie mash and licker (liquer dont sound right). Thats a real oldie. We had a pie shop that opened here, but it did not take of,and had to close. It was great for the folks who had moved down here from London, but the locals never liked it.
Now give me peace puddin and faggots, and I'll be well away.

Pauline I was playing solitaire on my lappy, not with cards. That way I could keep popping back on here to see what was happening.
I reckon you are right about Marilyn having a complete makeover, before Linda gets there. Not only for herself, but for the house. Cor blimey, I can just imagine, the feather duster will be out, the polish and air freshener ,the lot. I bet her home is spotless really.
My thoughts are that people take me as they find me, muck and cobwebs and all.

It sounds like you had a great time Stephen. Now don't tell us porkies, you know you enjoyed yourself.
Never mind, it will soon be time for you to put the christmas decorations up, that should keep you busy for a while.

Hi Rita, You have been in my thoughts today love. Keep strong for John, you know he would want you to be.
Has your family been in contact with you today, I do hope so,as you can draw strength from each other at this sad time.

I bet Jean will be looking forward to her weekend free from treatment. Thinking of you as well Jean.

Rather nice paintings, well some of them were.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

I'll pop in now and again.....in between Painting, Plumbing, Plastering and some Joinery work.
A niece is in crisis,,,,,Uncle Stephen to the rescue.

Rita.....keep an eye on things. Don't want any medals to get nicked.

Hi everybody, I've been busy with company, haven't had much time to myself.

I've had a quick look through the posts but can't remember what I've read.

It's dull and grey here as well Maddie, and wet again!

Rita, getting your dad's book published was a great idea wasn't it? I knew lots of people would be interested in it. You must be so pleased you did it.

Marilyn, nice to see you back, hope everything's going to be OK.

Linda, enjoy yourself at Marilyn's and don't forget to take photos of the 2 of you together. I bet Marilyn's booked herself in for a full makeover.

Errrr excuse me Stephen...............but we put up with your madness as well. Fair's fair though - you put up with ours. Hope you and the Mrs have a lovely day.

Shelly, are you off work on Monday? I heard a rumour you may be getting some sort of honour for all the medals you got.

Mo, were you actually using a pack of cards for Solitaire, or playing it on the computer?
