That is good to hear Yvvone not many of the hotmatches match these days I got one page and none of them even matched my names. I think they picked them out of a hat. I use to get a lot of connections at one time that was how I got so far with my family tree. but I am at a fool stop now,
Mine is my Great Uncle Absalom Lee born in 1871. I tried everything to find him but he vanished I am begining to think I made it all up. except I have his birth certificate.
so I have a very high brick wall,.needs bricks to loosen up.

Pauline I had thought of asking my Grandson to send some of that heat over here.
I finished my washing all done and dried. had my dinner. sat and listened to the Budget speach.
I still keep my Bus Pass, my heating allowance and my free TV licence.
so I was pleased about that.
I dont drink either, well I might have a glass of wine at a special dinner.but I take a lot of medication so have to be very careful. I have 8 steriods a day amoung other tablets.

It is getting really cold now. even though the sun is out.

Just decided to go to Looe in Cornwall for the day as its lovely and warm here.

We are having a coffee ....in my case tea before we go.

Morning EVERYONE

It is a lovely sunny day. but it is bitterly cold outside. I went along to the
Laundry-room to put my first lot of clothes in to wash and I was so cold I came back to get my coat.
I have stirpped the bed, so I will do that lot first have been done. I collected the stamps from the box I have in the Laundry for people to put their used stamps in. This year I have been collecting for The Blind
Two years I did it for Cancer research. then RNLI.. I am surprised at how many I get. I never expec ted so many.

Marilyn what a silly billy you are getting your dates mixed up. that was one reason I brought a desk diary for next year and a diary for my handbag for next year. I already have three dates in them.

Dame Shelly you should have put more candles on Brents Birthday cake I could have helped him blow them out.
I am only envous I dont know how to do that sort of thing.

Well today is the day we will know. what we get in the way of Cuts .maybe we will need first aid after we hear. lets hope it is fair to everyone

I now have the address of my Grandson in the RE he is in Oman and said the heat out there is really bad it takes it all out of him.

Oh dear I've made a right cock up.......the meet on the 19th March I have been told by Pete that I'm away in USA......

I'm sure when I asked him he said we were home........he said that I said are we home in April !!!!

Oh well nothing I can do about that , but was looking forward to the 'meeting .

Maybe the next one I should be grounded.

Hello All. Home from the pit-face. Had a bath and a bit of snap and I'm right jiggered. I dont know what on earth I am talking like this for, I am London born and bred. lol

Maybe cos I read Pauline talking about Sunderland. OH family comes from there, Seaburn and Roker. We went up in June, blooming cold. Very bracing, I had to keep having cups of tea, just to warm me up.

Oh, someone poke me in the eye with a sharp stick. Have added Yvonne to the list for the London meet, without realising it is OUR Yvonne. Silly mare, what am I like.

The scones were lovely Marilyn, thank you.

Rita I was not nude, or naked. My days of sleeping in the buff are well and truly over, since everything has headed south.

Stephen you naughty boy, Charlie [the dog] has been mooching around for a few hours, I think she thought your sporran was a mandog. She is currently, er, cuddling, her blanket. Its not a pretty sight.

Shelly, sorry, Dame Shelly, you must meet us all. I am very curious about you all. I have a mental picture of you ladies, but will be interesting to see if you match up to my imaginings.

Oh Pauline what a shame we wont be able to meet you in London. Never mind we can update you on the antics when we get back.

I may joke about having a drink, but have not touched alcohol in over twenty years. Can't take it any more, with my meds, so it doesn't bother me now.

The books people are welcome to read them, even take one home but there must have been 12 went in one day.and never came back. we have a couple of elderly people ,one is nearing 100 the others are in their 90's so cannot go out ,unless taken in a car. there are a lot on this estate who have cleaning ladies come in and do their housework and washing. I could not afford to. but many can. they have to as they cannot cope themselves,
You would think people would be more understanding about the books. never mind I will find some more for them.

Shelly most of the hotels I have been too have books left or given by visitors.I left four when I was in Torbay last year. people dont mind people taking them home when they have started to read. and not finished I have done that myself I must admit I often leave a book I have taken with me because I have finished it..

Now would you believe it ........Linda has just gone home !!
Well we had a lovely time had our cream teas & strawberries & wine & beers, but Linda could only mange a cup of tea ..LOL I didn't realize that she don't drink much I'll have to teach her how its done ...LOL

Her hubby & FIL were lovey , we sat around the fire hand chatted for England.then we took them on a tour of the coastal roads.
It turned very cold ,but we made sure they saw all the part of Plymouth that we live in .
Then said our bye bye's and put them on the road to Tavistock where they are staying.
Yes we bonded ......LOL lovely job .....
Got some snaps so will post soon.
