My mam used to say that people could sleep themselves better when they were ill. Hope it works for Mrs 2009.

Mind you I could easily fall asleep with this Red wine that I have treated myself to .... then sleep again tonight.....but only after Strictly & X factor ....

Lady Stephen2009 has been asleep nearly all day.

She is totally out off it. She got up about 11am. Showered.
Had breakfast. Then conked out again on the sofa. Awake about 3pm. Had lunch. Conked out again. She is still asleep

It's time to make the dinner now.

Linda, she just lies about her age so she can get compliments............she's really only 45.

I've had a lot of cream today Marilyn, but I didn't put it on my face, I ate it.

Don't anyone believe Marilyn !!!

The recommended creams must have worked well.

Genetics does play a big part of course ......but you do need to feed your skin according to the weather .....IE.. Sun dries out moisture needs to put back the moisture.
Winter weather dries and central heating , strips the skin of natural oils .....and it goes on & on ..

But when you get older.....nothing can change except the Surgeons knife..!!!

Do you think creams and lotions really make a difference Marilyn or is it just down to genetics?

My daffodils aren't showing yet. I've got a bag of tulips to put in but the ground is too wet, can't stand on it without sinking.

But you would be surprised at the amount of Males that are into Skin Products.
and they buy whatever you advise .......a big soft touch.
Even my Pete drowns himself with Aloe Vera .....after each shower. !!

Stephen, my hubby's started to move things out of my way when I stand up. I've taken a lot of sarcasm this week because I fell on Tuesday as well as yesterday.

Now I understand why my parents didn't want me to go to ballet lessons........probably would have broken my legs.

Is it that time of year already Marilyn? Shelly will be pleased, she'll have someone to talk to when she's up late.

I know exactly how you feel.
I seem to always be on the receiving end of accidents. Falling off a roof. Through ceilings. Down manholes. Drilling my hand. Power sawing my finger. Accidently stabbing myself. Cuts and bruises galore. Broken bones. etc.
Apart from that I'm pretty good at sewing myself back together and sorting my broken bones. Loads of practice.

Oh I've just had one like that this morning ....I was typing on my sons lappy and granddaughter kept pulling at my arm to do puzzles with her...one the floor !!!!!

So got grampy to do it instead.....got a grumpy look from her .

Now its so peaceful here we are both knackered , going away on Sunday thank god !

While I was typing it started to rain and my washing got wet.

He slammed the door because I sat at my lappy, he doesn't like me being on here, can't give him enough attention.
