Morning All !

(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?

Tea or Coffee, Toast, Cereals, Fruit Juice.

(_) Medicine for Mrs Stephen
She has had a good sleep. Hopefully when she wakens she will be feeling better. It takes a lot to keep my lovely wee lass feeling down.

What a lovely morning again. Clear Sky, Full Moon, Stars,
and as expected Frost.

The drive to work should be magic. The snow has gone from the local hills but I should see some on the tops of the higher ones in the distance once I get to the top of the Glen.

Have a good day ya all.

Had a closer look at the shoots coming up all over my flower beds.....Yes, it certainly is my Daffodils, I have hundreds all round the front and back gardens and many are now popping up above the surface. A wee bit early !!!!!!!!!

Maddie I never knew you were in the Scouts. I belonged to the Willesden Scouts and The Girl Guides when I moved to Perivale I was in the 3rd Perival scouts group I was Chair-Lady and Sec also took the group on coach trips to France and Scout Camps at Longridge were we had canoes.
My son in Law was a scouter and my daughter ran the Cubs.that was how they met. .

Nothing so good as a bit of bodice ripping on a Sunday night. Enjoyed that.

Gonna make this do for tonight.

Hope all are well.

Back again, like a bad penny.

Yes I DO like a drink in moderation. We have a bottle of plonk Fri, Sat and Sun. Not in the week cos we have to get up for work.

I was scared to mention it since Stephen and Co. came to my house. He made disparaging remarks about the amount of empty bottles. lol

Our recycling men come when they feel like it. Sometimes really early. So if you miss them ............ thats it for another week. I HAD TWO WEEKS WORTH, when you snuck into my house. Honest.

Maybe if I am really cheesed off, and have a vodka and coke.

Stephen, there is not much you can tell me about the Scouts. My Dave was a Beaver, Cub, Scout, Young Leader. I was a Scout Leader too for a time. NO, not like Joyce Grenfell.

A scout smiles and whistles under all difficulties. [Try telling him that when he is drowning] lol

Quite hard when you take them to camp. You cannot go to bed until the little buggers are in bed, and you have to be up before them. Then we have the nightmares, sickness, bedwetting etc. I counted the days until we came home, and I could sleep in my own bed, and not a sleeping bag, on a camp roll, on the hard floor.

But ................................ it was good fun.

Strictly was good. Downton Abbey on soon.

Bliss. Sunday night zombie tv.

Dinner over......we survived.

Mrs has suddenly come back to life.

I don't suppose it has anything to do with whats on the telly ?

Strictly Come Dancing and now the X Factor.

She will probably go comatose when they are finished !!!!!

What a beautiful night it is.

Full Moon, Clear Sky, Stars Shining.
No wind....metrologically speaking.
Going to be frost again tonight.

Marilyn.

There is no 'e' in Whisky.

Whisky take it's name from 'Uisge' (ooskay) which means Water.

'Uisge Ba'.....the Water of Life

A wee Gaelic lesson

I have a contact on my Mother said of the family our Scottish side and I am so pleased. she gave me intoframtion I didn have about my Gt Gt Grandfather brother and my Gt Gt Granparents. now I am having to look for information on one. who had been in the navy .the last time I had searched and then I lost him .but he has appeared again now. so it looks like I am back to my Scottish roots.

Marilyn,

Cooking !

Gammon Steaks done in a peppered sauce. Roast veg.
Potatoes. Etc.

Mrs fancies a nice light sweet. So a nice Ice cream with fruit should do her ok.

If I don't get it right it will be Hot Tongue and Cold Shoulder for my supper.....LOL

Well at least you're organized Stephen, have you got your clothes picked out as well?

I was talking to an old friend on Wednesday and she told me she'd been fighting with her hubby and he threatened to top himself. She said she was lying awake all Tuesday night thinking what she'd wear for the funeral and what food she'd have for the reception. She was very disappointed on Wednesday morning when she got up and he was still alive.

Maddie, I was starting to think we have a naughty spirit in the house and he's pushing me over.........but maybe I'm just clumsy.

I'm pleased to see you like a drink............I was beginning to think it was just Marilyn and myself who drank.

Evening Ladies and Gent.

Hope everyone is well. Kevin has been gargling like a good un, taken his tablets and sucked cough sweeties. So is a bit better.

Thanks for your advice Marilyn. I knew I could count on you. I do the three point plan from Liz Earle. Like the Clinique one. Exfoliate with LE scrub once a week. And slather the cream on at night. I have got Clinique liquid foundation, but maybe I need a change, will go to the EA or EL counters to see what they can recommend for old bags. lol

Work was a doddle today. So that will add to the Christmas coffers. Dont mind earning money when I dont have to work too hard for it. lol

Will be having a little tipple tonight, to reward myself for a job well done. Any excuse.

Strictly on soon I believe. Gotta get myself ready for that, drink in one hand, chocolate in the other.

Get well Pauline. Throw Frank Bruno out of your house, he is a bully.

See ya later.
x

Edit. Urgh Stephen, that is HORRIBLE. How depressing. I hope you are joking.

Monument already inscribed.....just the dates to be added.
