Girls you need radio controlled clocks they alter themselves. I have one. I did all mine on the sunday morning pauline I got all your emails they came with three others from friends in Norfolk.
Pauline Steve has finished his course of Chemo he has to take chemo tablets still and he had a scan done they were pleased with that. but they are worried about his legs as they are very weak and they have no idea why. they are going to fo test later in the month. but otherwise things seems to have worked out well.. I dont like jelly snakes only Jelly Babies I bite their head off. Lol
Jean good job you didnt go with us. it was cold and there were so many funny people about . It was enough to give you the golly wobbles. (perhaps I should not have said that word )
Jean I dont go to fireworks parties anymore and I am worried about this one with the fireman on strike. I hope we dont get any really bad accidents .when I lived in Norfolk the firework parties were all under control with fireman running them .and the Beach used to have a big bonfire and fireworks but not rockets because of the Life Boats signals could have got mistaken for then to go out. But we all had great fun.
I was sitting here answering my emails when one of my neighbours came he tapped on the window I wont tell you what I nearly did. but it made me jump. he is a bit excentric he is a retired Don from Oxford university. he creeps up on me and scares the daylights out of me at times. he only wants to speak to me or ask me something.but it dont do my heart any good.

Hello folks. I am still suffering from last nights antic. My back is killing me,from bending so low on my broomstick. Poor old Mystic Meg the cat, has gone into retirement, she cant take anymore fireworks zooming past her. LOL
Jean, we are not doing anything special on bonfire night. We will probably stay indoors,in the warm. I don't like the blooming things anyway, they frighten the life out of me. I dread a rocket coming down from the sky,and hitting me on the head. Even when my children were little, we were tight and only allowed sparklers in the garden. Even then they had to wear gloves, in case they burnt their fingers.
Linda. the only clock we can't change, is the one in our car. No matter what Roly does, the blessed thing will not change. He follows the instructions from the manufacturer,he sets it, and then the blessed thing changes back by itself. So now I have to remember to take an hour of off the time, when we are out in the car.

Sending lots of jelly snakes and things down the cyber hatch for Rita. The jelly fingers and ears are very tasty Rita.
How much longer does Steve have to have his chemo, Rita?
Linda, my kitchen clock is always the last one to get changed because I can't reach it, have to wait for hubby getting round to doing it. I forgot about my mobile, better do it now............thanks for reminding me.

Pauline that was a good excuse. I had a spare one here I could have sent it remote control up to you. you didnt want to go out in the dark and cold be honest that was your excuse. Lol Marilyn only went away so she didnt have to go flying on a broom stick. I bet she wished she was still here in cold england.
you have all those sweeties as you stuck ghost and horrible things on you gate and windows so that put those poor children off knocking on your door because you wanted those sweets your self.. send me some, I wont tell anyone.

Forgot to mention I found 7 clocks to change yesterday. This morning I saw the Wall clock in the kitchen still needs putting back the hour.............. I can't reach it. Why do we need it when there is a clock on the cooker and microwave too. Iguess it's in case the electric goes off?
Then there is one in the dining room done that now.
Still haven't done my mobile yet.
Have a nice afternoon

Rita, if Maddie's not retired at 92.......she never will retire. Besides, how would she pay for all those face-lifts if she didn't work? Mind you, all that skin knotted at the top of her head fitted nicely into the pointed hat last night.
I couldn't go flying with you last night because my trendy turbo charged vacuum cleaner broke down and I'd thrown the old broomstick away. I heard about the antics you all got up to though, it was on the national news at 5am this morning.
I didn't get any little witches or warlocks knocking at my door last night, but it was raining heavy so maybe they didn't want to get wet...........I'll just have to eat all the sweets myself.
Keeping my fingers crossed for Linda's dad.
And hope Jean is doing OK.

My son emailed me to say two of his children went out trick and treating they came back with loads of sweets. I didnt get anyone here we dont get them normally anyway. Linda. I do hope you get good news. strange how they always start road works near holiday times here. and they dig the roads up and you dont see anyone for weeks. then they start working for a couple of weeks then clear off again.
Shelly I didnt bother making tea this morning. I knew if I poured it out it would go cold as you lot dont get up early ? Lol I hate waste I didnt want to throw it away. if it had been during the war then I would have saved the cold tea and bottled it.we use to paint our legs with it to make out we had stocking on and used a dark pencil to make the seam at tha back of the stockings . Lol
Maddie I thought it strange when you said you were off work. I thought you ment retiring.. all theses people off to work.

Morning all I too hope Jean has a good week No news on Dad yet, will ring round the family later. Little coming early this week, we have road works near where she lives so she is coming early to try to avoid some of the traffic. Have done some ironing already. Went to youngest daughters last night, two littl groups of children knocked early so they had lollies. Lots were out and about with parents. Daughter only had one lot knock and that was before we got there. We had a chinese take away to eat and it was very nice.
Well off to get ready

It is a weired morning here it is quiet grey outside., not cold ,but a morning like you get after bonfire night when there is a mist outside. I did hear a couple of firework go off last night when I was in bed, they were quiet late letting them off.
I have laundry to do to-day nothing much planned other then that. I hope those who went on the Witchs travels last night got home and enjoyed it all.
see, I am .as nutty ad a dundee fruit cake this morning.
Maddie do you mean you have packed up working ? I would have thought at the ripe old age of 92 you would have retired years ago. Lol have a good day. Rita

I got home an hour ago , I got caught on a jet that was making for the air base.. Talk about wind it blew my hat off. I think it might have gone down a chimney. I lost the cat somewhere along the way. I expect it will find its way home. I wore cycle clips around my trouser legs to stop the wind making my legs cold. I flew over the roof here and some silly whatits let some fireworks off a couple of rockets. so I need to buy a new broom head tomorrow.
Rita
I think I will go to bed I am tired after all that.

I am home. Sitting on the roof, watching the stars and the moon. It is peaceful up here.
I can see a few other witches swooping along against the moon.
Crickey, these tiles are a bit cold on the bum. Must shift a bit to get more comfortable. Ooooooh, there IS a draft. Where me thong gone now. I knew I took Nelsons Column a bit quick. Hope Nelson doesnt have an extra eye patch.

Changes down a gear and goes into cruise mode and auto pilot.
That hard work on the upgrading of the broomstick is now paying dividends big style.
Lies back gazes at the stars and serenly disappears into the distance.

Not wet the beds Stephen. As a child we were forbidden to pick them, under the threat that we would wet the bed if we did. Now a lovely bunch of Red Roses, would go down a treat. I am sure Mrs Stephen would love to receive them as a gift. That must be Maddies thong. It always happens to you doesn't it.
