Morning all.......well those that rise in the morning !!!!!!!
(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?
Tea or Coffee
Toast, Marmalade, Scrambled Eggs, Cereal, Porridge, Fresh Grapefruit.
This Bodyclock is more regular than any alarm !!!!
4.00am on the dot.
Did you all go to bed early last night ? 8.44pm last posting.
Chastity Belts.....any spare ones? I need a new belt to hold up my trousers. Would one of them do ?
Ready for another day at the office.....things are getting manic on the run up to the Year end.....I can cope......pass me another few Valium LOL. My staff sometimes ask why I don't get stressed when the pressure is on. I just reply... 'no ones shooting at me, so I'm not likely to be killed, am I' They look with blank expressions. Accept my reasoning and get on with the job in hand. They are a good bunch.
Have a good day ya all !!!!!!!

Good evening all. Wow I am really cream crackered. I have been up to Bromley by train today, and started my christmas shopping. We walked and walked, up and down the shops ,and came home absolutely laden. I have wrapped half of the things, and will go into Chatham on thursday to finish of buying the rest that I need. Buying for the eleven granchildren, is a nightmare. Knowing what to buy for children aged between 7 and 23 is a real problem. It's o.k for the two youngest, we gave them the Arg*s catalogue, and asked them to pick out some items that they wanted.
As it was such a hectic day, Roly took me out for a meal this evening, to save me having to cook.
Oh and by the way, we won at darts last night, yippeeee.

Hi All Well update on my father: He has renal failure, but now on medication, plus all his other meds are being given to him properly, we think he forgets to take them sometimes.............. though he said he started at the wrong end of the packet Oh yes !!! He is getting better a should be allowed home in the next 3 days, hopefully before Saturday anyway. Mum is better in herself, my sister is testing her sugar levels properly and giving the correct insulin, probably her other tablets too. My sister in law said she is much brighter and more lucid too, she took her out this afternoon. She is sleeping better at night and not being disturbed as Dad sleeps poorly at the best of times.
So keeping fingers crossed

This is what happened at Specsave.
I explained I had phoned them last week and told I didnt need an appointment just come with the glasses and the receipt next time I was in Town. I handed them over. she called to one of the assistants to check my records. I told her they go back to 2007. it took her about ten minutes. then the manageress said" you must have changed you eye drops "no they are the same as I have had for years and the pressure is the same I was told last week at the eye clinc.. she said didnt you notice there was something wrong when you tried them on ? I said yes I told the women who was seeing to me. She said we will make an appointment for you to see the optician but our computers are all down now so we will have to phone you . I asked didnt you have a back up system then ? NO. we will phone this afternoon .I said so your computers will be working by then, ?
I then asked why when I phoned last week and told you. you did not make an appointment for me then.? I have come all this way for nothing.as I am told now I will have to have an appointment.. I was so angry what a waste of time.
Rita was it a good day or bad?

Now I wonder would you say I had. had a good morning or a BAD ?
I went and got my blood test done at the doctors. I had the nurse from the hospital this time not the surgery nurse. "Hello Rita nice to see you again. what happened about your blood "tests. ? I explained" I had been seeing the surgery nurse" sparks flew". they dont get on." I stayed quiet she checked my yellow letter as things have to be ticked off. things like change of medication etc. and bruising they are quiet up on that. I had forgotten to mention a large bruise on my right arm about 5 inches by 3. she wrote it down on my form bruises to the arms. I had one on the other arm as well. no idea how I got them.?
I had taken my old glasses and my new ones with to Specsve. (I had phoned them last week and they said no need to make an appointment bring them back next time you come to town ," miss the bus so waited for the next it was full but for two empty seats. we were nearly there when a elderly bus inspector got on a women..( I cannot remember the last time I was on a bus and had to show my tickets.) she went up and down the bus and came to me I showed her my tickets. she said "I want to see your bus pass." so I showed it too her she studied it and gave it back. no one else had to show theirs. and they were nearly all pensioners. on the bus. The man at the side of me laughed. as i said "well either I look as though I am travelling without paying or I dont look my age." I could hear people behind me laughing. I am not kdding I must look at least 65 even though I am well over that age.. I said to the man as I got off she has more wrinkes on her face than I have all over my body.(. wrong thing to have said.) he said I would'nt know about that but the bits I can see look alright. I think the ticket inspector must have been in er late 77's

Thats right Pauline blame me, just because I am the eldest everyone pick on poor ME ?
Shelly I had the problem once wore some new glasses and went to get off the bus and everything was swimming and I could not find the step to get off the bus till I removed my glasses. I dont know what people must have thought seeing me like that.
I do read a lot some books have very small print other larger so that often puts me off a book when the print is so small.
I find the change of clocks upsets my times as well. you get use to getting up at one time for months then you have to alter your body system by the time you get use to that. the clocks alter again and your back to square one.
I am going to have another cup of tea. and get ready for the Doctors.

Yep, I get up at 5am every day as well but now I'm waking up at 4am instead, I'm not getting up though...........just lying there waiting for the alarm to tell me when it's 5am.
Thanks for the breakfast Stephen I had the cereal and juice, after my boy's gone out I'll have some scrambled egg and toast...........'cause I'm greedy.
Sorry I grassed on you Maddie, they made me tell them about the face-lifts. Shelly twisted my arm up my back while Rita shone a torch in my eyes (she got that from her war days), Mo tickled me and Linda stamped on my poorly toe. Jean felt sorry for me and ran to get Stephen to help but he was busy in the garden........feeding his haggis.
It's raining again!!

Morning all Thanks for the breakfast Stephen You must be having a second childhood, it takes the little ones a while to adjust. It's drizzly here, but warm and supposed to brighten up. Saw my eldest daughter last night and we had a nice meal together. Little here early again today so must get on.

Tea or Coffee. Toast, Scrambled Egg, Fruit Juice, Cereal.
Help Yourself !
HELP !
Any suggestions on how to turn back my 'Body Clock ?
Normally I waken around about 5am or so. With the clocks going back this wee chap is now waking at 4 am.
What a nuisance that is. Can't do anything because half the world is still asleep.
Can't even work in the garage. Might waken the sheep with the noise.
Twiddle my thumbs ! That gets boring after a wee while.
I have the washing all done ready to go out at first light.....if it dont rain that is.
Tidied the kitchen...all the dishes cleaned and put away.
Did a bit of emailing...when folk see the time they were sent they will think I'm half daft. Well they got that right eh !!!
Enjoy your breakfast......it gave me something to do.
Have a good day ya all !

Stephen I will ask him. next time I see him. but I can tell you George is an excentric and I have to laugh at some of the things he does often he cannot remember my name or his own when he asks me things i have to repeat them as he forget as soon as you tell him so dont hold your breath he will know. but I will ask him By the way when George first moved here about 2 years ago his mail was addressed t him as Dr ,

Rita,
Could you ask your Oxford Don if he knew Professor Gordon Marshall.
Gordon is a friend of mine and I know he spent some time at Oxford. Not sure what he lectured in.
Gordon is now Vice-Chancellor at Reading University.
Best wishes,
Stephen
