Thank you Sue for that remark. I think we all go through something in our life time that makes us wonder. ? I know I have often wondered why some poeople have such a hard life and great loss while others seem to go through life with next to no worries.

Stephen. My husband went to France Greece and Egypt he was good at shooting and when they called people up for two weeks specialist training in 1951 he was the first in our area to get called up;. what upset him was he was sent to another regiment for that two weeks The Royal Artillary and he wrote and asked why he could not go back into his regiment The Royal Fusilers.They were not plesed about that. I think they thought there would be an other war in the Gulf.

I had my two minute silence sitting in the bath, remembering all the lost souls, from all wars,and those suffering the after affects of them.
Also thinking of my dear dad who we lost in 1977,at the age of 59.

There is a sand castle competition on the beach and they are from all over the world so we will be going down to look at them all... I'll need sun hat and loads of sun cream I'll be swimming in it !!
